The Sjambok is one of the sexiest items in my toy box and, I would LOVE to see it in extreme action.

Are you aware of any videos for purchase or download that demonstrate it being used during kinky play 'or' physical punishment?

Lordy...they can be vicious!  Ya know...they're pretty much just stiff, leather canes, no?

If I'm not mistaken, classically they are made from rhino or hippo hide. I've also read/heard about elephant hide being used. Extremely stiff types of hide. Also a plastic version is (or was) used by South African police for riot control, which made have led to the association of sjamboks with aparthied.

The Sjambok (in its original form) is made from the phallus of a rhino.

I'm mainly looking for "kink" videos.
The videos on youtube aren't exactly what I'm looking for - there were too many videos of kids just goofing off with it.

Those damn things are vicious. When I switched for a short while I had a Jamacian Dom who loved using one of those things on me. Come to find out I am a bit of a pain slut. *chuckles* I am looking to purchase one for myself. As I tell my subs and Slaves... I would never use anything on them I would never have used on me first.

I think I got mine from BudK many years ago and it's the rubber kind.
Never used it tho!!!!

Even with the poly carbon ones you have to be damn careful.. you can and will rip skin with a mere flick of the wrist. *shudders and smiles* They are simply wicked wicked tools. Go slow always at first. Becareful on flicking the wrist. Make darn sure whom ever you are using it on is a good communicator.. and does *Not* have a gag in place. They need to be able to tell you whats going on if need be. As always any good Dom should have memorized the chart of major nerve centers, and blood vessels from Greys Anatomy.. and do well to advoid those areas esp when playing with one of these.

ColdSteel seems to be the Go-To guys for them at this point..
