I've got a question for you.

You know those little ankle-nipper dogs that come racing out of people's yards when you're jogging down the street, or just walking along, or riding your bike? What the hell are you supposed to do when those annoying little bastards start attacking your boots?

I mean, you've got every right to go walking down that street, right? Yet you're not supposed to give them a little kick to them and send them rolling down the sidewalk. Whoever owns the place you're walking by would freak - it's like they're a protected species that can do whatever it damn well pleases. No one seems to mind the toothless little yappers gumming away on your polished boot leather.

So what the hell is a guy supposed to do?

Move?

And to think she was so cute as the Flying Nun.

I think she was right about how there would be no war if mothers ruled the world. Mothers would give people on both sides of a conflict "Time Outs" instead, and then make them shake hands, afterward. [:)]- Suzanne

Mothers ruling the world is not likely but Mothers have been quite prepared to use lethal force if necessary.
See Indira Gandhi: who ordered troops to enter a Sikh shrine and was subsequently assassinated by her Sikh bodyguards.

Our Mrs Thatcher did her bit too but that was in response to the actions of a naughty man , so maybe that dosnt count lol.

The Israeli female PM also was involved in military activity but I cant remember either her name or whether Israel had been attacked.
Something like Goldie Hawn....no thats not right lol

Also the worlds first female PM in Sri Lanka had to deal with military problems . Her name I can remember but cant spell
Banderanaike...something like that

Some Mothers have even been known to attack people who were trying to impose control on their violent little offsprings. Mothers can be dangerous under certain circumstances. lol

She advertises the product boniva, how do you know she actually takes it andisn't just an actor selling a product?

sophia37 -> RE: Sally Field at the Emmys (9/23/2007 11:15:50 AM)

I didnt listen to one word sally field said in the blurb I saw on TV. All I thought was, "Damn! She looks really good for a woman her age!" lol

Well, she's still cute, just occasionally irritating. [:D]

Yes, we know, shut up already.

Just kidding [:D] Of course that's possible, but it was a good joke.

Seeks, "Golda Meier?"
Here we go with the "Actors" again!
I don't care what Congressmen or Senators think!
Why should I care what someone who makes their living making movies thinks?
Do people really care what "Opra" or Jerry Springer think?
And if they do, stay the fuck away from me!

feastie -> RE: Sally Field at the Emmys (9/23/2007 11:25:50 AM)

Because she says she takes it.  It would be false advertising if she did not take it and said that she did.  Joe Namath got into a big deal over his pantyhose ads years ago.

May favorite one was when Wonder Bread was asked ,..What 8 ways their bread built bodies.(remember,"helps build strong bodies, eight ways")

And they said, uhhh,emmmm,uhhh,I/we don`t know.lol

That claim vanished.

Grins the signature line is about a year old. I'm thinking more of along the lines of sometimes life throws you a messy ice cream cone you just have to know how to lick it or something lol.
