God is all

You know, I like this theory.  It supports two things I've always known to be true:
-God is a brain-eatting amoeba.
-I am, at least in part, God.

..to work on..
-This would imply that I am, at least in part, a brain-eatting amoeba..
..yummy, brains?

You know, with my majors, I practically live in the library.  I can't play all those video clips you link me.  At least, not with sound.

It's an academic library.  Opening doors, light footsteps, the flipping of pages- those are the loudest things appropriate here, outside of the occasional cough or sneeze, when necessary.  Hell, I had to use a seperate keyboard for this laptop when it was new, before I broke in the keys, since the clicking was far too loud.  I always double click with the mouse pad when needed while here since the click button on the pad's too loud.

Anyhow, point being, headphones would put out too great a level of noise.

Heh.  Just amuses me to think of how unreasonable this must seem to others.

That is a most interesting documentary, Real One. I watched about ten minutes of it and will return to it to see the other two hours as well.

people like you who insist there is have never produced one shred of evidence to support your view.

That's only because you can't prove it to someone else.

From a quick assessment

80% of the contributions here are from guys
80% of the contributions are uninteresting, irrelevant or both

Meanwhile, 80% also happens to be the assessed proportion of most religions which are also uninteresting, irrelevant or both.

We can therefore make a good guess that there is only a 20% chance that God is a Woman.

Science does not admit gnosis, which is fair enough.
Building inward, rather than outward, does have its appeal to most minds.
That said, there are precious few ways to build outward that seem particularly viable.

If I said I believed in the devil and that I was on earth to do his dealing. I would be locked up in a nut house but it is no different to someone who says they believe in god and they are on earth to do his dealing.

I can't prove what I don't experience. I have no starting point. You can't prove what you imply you experience because it is locked in your imagination. But I would like to know how you know your imagination and how the human mind works, isn't playing tricks on you. I'm sure that if I said pink elephants were doing the tango at the bottom of my garden you would think I was nuts if I couldn't prove they were. God is no different than those pink elephants.

I would go with that, and all of life's creations being part of the same and also, I believe, aspects of other faiths too. All one in the same, just different paths.

Books written by man I tend to take with a pinch of salt, I go with what I feel.
