My 'keets have trained themselves to "sing" while they're hearing the US National Anthem being sung at the beginning of each NASCAR race... don't know if they're gleefully joining in or making some sort of political statement...

There are birds in this area, which in spring and summer sing constantly, and it sounds like they are saying, "Pretty girl, pretty girl, pretty girl, so pretty so pretty so pretty!" I always said they were my favorite birds, because they always made me feel pretty. Then my husband said, "honey, those are MOCKING birds."
