well just made a second one, shorter and with woven handle instead of nailing the leather to it.

Well now that we have all seen a picture of your hand-made flogger, how much are you going to charge?

I really would like to see the blue one in balck and red. Or possibly black and deep purple. Have you decided on a price yet?

Looks like a cute flogger. I'd probably purchase one. How much are you asking for them?

People deep into the scene probably would'nt. Depends on your level of experience I think.

A really good flogger has perfect balance and weight. Also made out of many different types of skin.

I've not a clue how to make a flogger...good luck.

sbmssvkitten -> RE: hand made floggers?? (7/3/2004 4:21:32 PM)

the colour question is i make the floggers in the colours i can get leather in, and hence the latest are blue since i didn't like dark green or baby pink and they had no other colours right now but i heard from another shop i could buy leather from so will see. only started makign floggers a week ago[:)]

sbmssvkitten -> RE: hand made floggers?? (7/3/2004 4:24:35 PM)

the first one i made seemed very heavy but the new ones are pretty well balanced and seem very light even though it's the exact same material. just a different length combination. and i have friends who are deep in the scene and they loved them, took one to the munch today and they liked it a lot. still not sure about the price though[:)]

my handmade leather floggers made a small webpage for them[:)]

Hmmm I like the look, but

well

I tend to really like a HEAVY handle. Most folks tend to use dowels, and they just are too light for my arm strength, and build, and how I flog. I tend to gravitate towards floggers that have a serious heft in the handle area.

Just seems to be easier for me to use accurately.

But they are pretty!

sbmssvkitten -> RE: hand made floggers?? (7/6/2004 3:23:13 AM)

but but but
i made the first handle 12" as master wanted it that long, so the tails were long to and he says it's far too heavy so he loves the smaller one i sell now as he can hit harder without his arm fallling off after a few minutes

ShadeDiva -> RE: hand made floggers?? (7/7/2004 1:26:13 AM)

hmmm for me, the weight I prefer to be in the handle, after the handles all weighted, I can deal with whatever the weight of the falls winds up being. (only one that I seriously found to give me second thoughts was the 100 fall flogger LeatherMaster was making a few years back GOD I wanted that thing, but even with both arms (and yes it was designed to be a double handed flogger) I would have tired out easily.

But OMGGGGGGGGGGG the THUD was to die for! LOL! One of the ONLY floggers where we both went hmmm, Ray'd need to be careful with that cuz he could seriously hurt someone if he ever really whacked someone full strength with it. One of the only floggers that has topped that thud is Damiens weighted bunny floggers. That sucker left me with bone bruises for 2 weeks with a casual demo stroke. Freaking SWEEET~! lol

~ShadeDiva, who now wants more toys more toys more toys! LOL!

sbmssvkitten -> RE: hand made floggers?? (7/7/2004 7:07:25 AM)

more toys more toys more toys always good, drools
oops sowwy, behaves

sbmssvkitten -> RE: hand made floggers?? (9/26/2004 4:21:30 AM)

all da people who tried them say they love them and how good they are and stuff and sold a few to[:D]...

and master manages to brusie me quite a bit with the one i made for him. OUCH!![;)]

tribalelegance -> RE: hand made floggers?? (9/26/2004 12:46:16 PM)
