I have msn IM. Get pestered all the time about downloading a new version. So, I did. It promises popup blocking. Then I get a popup from msn IM telling me that it blocked a popup. This is better? grrrrrrrrrr.

That's funny, LOL. My msn popup blocker on their tool bar is the best i've ever used, gets almost all of them.

I use a browser that blocks most all popups. Used to catch them all but now a few get thru.

I hate popups!

I use stop the pop. I really like it. I have the google toolbar which is supposedly just as good, but I'll stick with my stop the pop.

I have a Google Toolbar and I haven't seen a pop up yet. Love it!

Having not used the version you are speaking of I don't know...but is it possible that you can turn the notices off? Usually that's an option.

Just a thought.
