i personally haven't been there but i want to make it there...What was subspace like for you...also what was the defining moment that hit you into subspace...what set you off...thx in advance

For me, subspace is like my entire body turning into a helium ballon and my Daddy holding the string...sometimes jerking it or sometimes guiding it along smoothly.

I'm not sure that I have a defining moment that puts me into space...Daddy can do it with words if we're in the right moods, or we can try for hours pushing all of my proverbial buttons and 'nada. It's not a crapshoot like it sounds, but for me it requires a certain headspace and virtually no distractions or percieved distractions (worrying about whether someone is going to knock on the door).

Sometimes it can hit me like a freight train and sometimes it's elusive...and it just depends on our moods...not just mine. If we're both not concentrating, I can't get there...I have to trust that He is totally focused on the activity at hand. It's a concerted effort that is worth every second of blood, sweat, and tears...at least for me.

Daddy also has His own Domspace which, sort of, coincides with my experience but it is not really a mirror...but a reflection is the closest way to describe it on my part. He'd have to describe His own headspace...but when He's there, inevitably, I'm already there or I'm soon to follow...that's as close to a defining moment as I can get.

I'm not really sure I'm up to the task of describing it, but the best comparison I can think of would be the 'eye of the storm.' It always felt to me as though there was almost a tangible pressure, or energy, in the room, and it kept rising; at its peak, it just completely dissipated, and I had this sense of complete peace and calm like I'd never felt anywhere else. Pain didn't really seem to exist there, even though I felt it just moments prior, and I definitely felt it afterward. No matter the cost in blood, sweat, and tears, it's worth every bit of it. I'm not sure I really had to be in a specific mood beforehand; it seemed to depend more upon wether or not she was in her element. I was just the instrument, she was the musician. I hope this helps...

when i first experienced subspace, it was like having an out-of-body effect. i could see myself being spanked but not actually feeling each stinging pain of the paddles, flogger, riding crop or whatever the mistresses at this public dungeon used. i was told by others afterwards that i was dancing the techno/electronica music and smiling as i enjoyed every moment of my 30 minute session.

i don't know what set me straight off to my subspace however i do know my subdrop was a hard crash and burn back to reality. i was dazed and confused for awhile - a very dangerous state to be in since there were interested leather members asking if i wanted to do a private session with them. at least i had the good sense to make the right judgement and not go off with strangers.

i don't know how well i can describe it, but i'll give it a shot.

i happens pretty easily with Sir. Certain words seem to do it right away, or hair pulling, or bondage. It's being completely trusting of Him, any boundaries created by doubt or fear are gone. He does whatever He wants to me and i have given up all control. i just kind of float around experiencing whatever happens.

Well, i guess that's close. Sorry! It seems to be hard to describe for me.

Most times subspace has felt like .. "static electricity" the kind that makes your hair stand up... All over your body BUT it is NOT on the outside of your skin... it's on the INSIDE...Especially around my head, it's very intense.
Sometimes like goosebumps turning inward....
Next I start to fly... I smile and soar, swoop and dive, but it's all in my head and soul. My spirit plays like a bird flying on a breezy Summer's day...
For me it is largely a mind set. Sometimes I can do it alone, or with the aid of a skilled Top. I have even masturbated using detailed fantasies and I'll go into subspace to an imaginary or real Dominant.

Then there's the "tandem space" events.
When I was "with" my Dominant and He was totally in control of the scene, I would flow into Him. I became His kite. He would surround me and drive me like the wind... while also being my string -- and only link back to reality. And I would truly FEEL Him and His energy. This "space" was magic and kinda rare.

I become totally aware, but yet unaware. I could hear everything that was said, but I couldn't reply. I saw and recorded everything in my mind, but sometimes the order became jumbled.

A good warm-up and a gradual build-up in intensity seemed to work best.
