Though i hide my pain deep inside
my heart aches from keeping it
my eyes mourn with crimson tears
but my hair hides my blotched face
as my the scars on my heart rip open
against the sharp and lethal verbal knife
the patterns of hate surround me
old wounds are yet again ripped open
how does it feel to hold my heart
and crush it to a bloody pulp
to take something that was carefree
and so deeply corrupt it
what you see today is a shadow of myself
a mere ghost of my old personality
you've stumbled upon a broken and empty wreck
that wants to be loved and protected so badly
the walls are weakening beneath kind words
the dark consumes all but a small light
and when you get to that dim and weak light
will there be a beauty within....
or nothing at all

inquire,does this the beast!

to ask of wonder?
to ask of greed?

the task of greed is to kill beauty!
the task of wonder is to water it!

beauty is everywhere for eyes who are not hands!
the hand of the judge!
that touch!
the gentle rose,
to clutch?
or to watch?

he was an ape!
his parents human!
they dressed him,
they educated him,
the human way!
the real Ape,
will break away.
with some delay!
the more delay the less the real!
the more delay the more the pressure!
the more the pressure!
and finally!
the howl of the Ape!
