Hey there,

I contacted a girl claiming to be a sub on this site and her response set off warning bells, I was wondering if you think this may be a con:

[Initial text removed because not important]

So IF you want to take this further, drop me a text okay. So please do make contact with me. I am, at this early stage a little reserved about giving out my personal contact details to strangers on the internet. I am using a text-based contact service. This will be temporary and only used as a getting-to-know-you device. You can contact me by texting the word SLAVEGIRL to number xxxxx. Then once done we will be able to move this forward. I will be happy to exchange mobile number etc on meeting, but unwilling to do so at this early stage. You can't be too careful can you?

At the end of the e-mail there was:

This message contains confidential information and is intended only
for the individual named. If you are not the named addressee you
should not disseminate, distribute or copy this e-mail. Please notify
the sender immediately by e-mail if you have received this e-mail by
mistake and delete this e-mail from your system. E-mail transmission
cannot be guaranteed to be secure or error-free as information could
be intercepted, corrupted, lost, destroyed, arrive late or incomplete,
or contain viruses. The sender therefore does not accept liability for
any errors or omissions in the contents of this message, which arise
as a result of e-mail transmission. If verification is required please
request a hard-copy version.
Texts cost £1.50. Over 18 only. You must
be the bill payer. Service by LPPS, Studio 72, 57, Great George
Street, Leeds LS1 3AJ

Does anyone think this may be a scam or is it a normal thing to do?

Sounds pretty odd to me too, but typical of a scam.

Sounds like somebody wants your money.

Go with your gut and what you want, but if you don't want a professional relationship, I'd keep looking... elsewhere.

A sub who won't exchange details who gives you a number to call?

I just looked at your profile and realise you're very young (and probably inexperienced). It's definitely a scam, sugar.

the LPPS studio in the disclaimer appears to be a professional matching service.  http://www.localmistresses.co.uk/

I guess it's possible this person is a pro looking for a personal relationship, but seems odd.  Send her another cm email explaining your concerns, don't have much to lose that way do you?  I wouldn't do the text thing.

So are you willing to pay a pound fifty to find out if she is real, or not?  It's a sucker bet to me.  But she is bound to make out like a bandit, if she's a hottie and even a fraction of the guys who email her are willing to send that message.  It's not fraud, though - you've been told up front what it costs

Of course you can understand if someone needs to know you better to exchange personal info - that's the part where she is trying to make it sound reasonable. But why would you need to text? Why not just continue exchanging emails until she feels ready to proceed forward?
Then she can always choose to call you on the phone instead of you calling her, if she is still uncomfortable with you having her phone number (*67 kills caller ID. in the US. I'm sure you have the equivalant).
When you go to meet a new sub, you should be ready to first send them an email in which there is enough personal info about you that you could be located if she disappeared - safecall info.
That is normal stuff to ask for. Asking for a text makes no sense. she is trying to make money somehow. And btw, for future refrence, when you get a nice email from a slave saying, 'go look at my website and write me back if you like what you see', don't be surprised if it is a pay site. If you are silly enough to pay to look, and then writer to her, don't actually expect an answer. Just as, if you decide to text this 'slave', I wouldn't expect an answer, there, either.

Dont you dare contacting her via TXT.  It's a scam, similar to the phone scams and will cost you a small fortune.

Dating service scam. By texting the codeword you sign up with their system and start getting billed. You'll be lucky if you can cancel your 'subscription'.

Six foot is right.

So, if you DO text the number probably better to use someone elses phone; next time you are on a train just ask that rather dull looking commuter next to you if you can quickly text your woman.

Hey, we never know the ultimate outcome of our actions...it might turn the commuter on to something and he might start trying to find out if his wife likes these things, in the process he may discover what she does in fact like and she may call off her plans to divorce him and therefore a little peice of society might be saved from disintegration...is that so bad?

This message sounds to me like an attempt to trick Y/you into signing up for a contract texting service. These scams happen a lot. i would advise Y/you not to respond by text. If Y/you really want to contact this person, supposing she really exists, ask her to contact Y/you. If she refuses, she's probably scamming Y/you.

As a long-time cellphone industry employee, you will undoubtedly end up with a monthly subscription service that's harder to get rid of than a bad case of the clap.  DELETE DELETE DELETE!

Texting is like sending an email by using the phone. It is sort of a combination of a voicemail message and an email.

i have seen this on email before, it was a web service from their email, a disclaimer, have seen it on emails from people that work in government offices and forward things to me, it is a virus checking service also connected with their web service,... the last part of it maybe they are using one of the emails that does not let you trace it back to them for their safety, but people that usually do that, are scammers or gamers that do not wish a trail should they screw you over as well... not just for safety but a way to hide after they hurt you.... be careful...
wait for the right one to come along,... if it's real, the trust will develop... if they are worried about you having their number, they can get a track phone or block their return number, so that you get what is called a restricted number call....
