I don't formally journal. As most of you know, I pretty much put My life out there on the open boards. Once in a while, an occassional topic comes out that is relevant to some of you out there. When that happens, it's usually My pleasure to share that, and hear feedback from your own experiences. Many times, it turns out to be interesting. On occassion, some couldn't care less.

Not long ago, there was a thread going on about the different hurdles that a submissive has to leap in order to get to certain stages in progress. One of My main ones is what it really takes for a submissve to earn his way into My home. It may sound like an easy thing to some in different situations out there, but in Mine, this is a huge deal. It is bigger than play. It is bigger than attending events without My husband (I'm poly) present. Bigger than, well, short of his actual collaring, anything else. It is a signifigant almost beyond compare in the view of My eyes.

Before I continue with this happy little moment, let Me say that I wasn't especially prepared for it. Literally dishes in the sink, and laundry unfolded in the basket. I'm not going to say I was completely comfortable with the state of the house. Ok, much less than comfortable. You get My drift.

Still, in what might seem to some as nothing more interesting that receiving a pedicure while My husband watched a football game (if you follow football, and understand that My husband is a HUGE Buffalo fan..... another set of not so good circumstances) this little moment in time, almost made My year! It is one of the greatest steps for Me in what I have always hoped for.

Take from it what you will. A discussion on the different things a submissive must achieve before hitting a certain level. What it takes to bring a submissive home. Maybe other moments in time that you have considered a signifigant difference in your relationships. What is that one thing, that made your BDSM better than it was before.

I've been around these boards a while. Has anyone noticed that I am content?

Ladypact I think its great your so content

I cant pinpoint specific things that have casued me to feel such content myself but I must admit the last few months Ive had times where Ive been sat in awe at my situation with my boy and how things are for us.
We celebrated our 1st annaverary on monday and I lay in bed so happy.
I held a birthday party the weekend before for my U.M and 9 U.M friends, I was dreading it and knowing he had only ever experienced his own at that age was worried how he would react to it all. Being able to sit back and watch him entertain and not get stressed out by the unruly scrabble of loud noisy things and have him still come to me and ask if I needed a drink and be tender and caring all at the same time just made me smile through out.
I think its the big non bondagy things that have made such a big difference to our relationship and made the bondagy things stronger.

I am sure I am rambling now lol so i'll end it here but I am so pleased your content too
