i like your posts, usually they'll make me chuckle.

Spanking and rough play will happen when the Mistress desires. Any humiliation would fall into this category too. i will not request play of Her, preferring to wait for when She's ready. Hmmm. Well, i may hint or tease, but waiting does keep the anticipation high.

Punishment i work actively to avoid. Punishment means being ignored or told that i have let Her down, and it isn't fun in any sense.

What do you mean exactly by gratification? If you mean sexual release or orgasm, then it would fall into the same arena as play. i may beg or whine during play, but outside of that i won't. That became Her call when i committed to Her. On the other hand, i find service, knowing that i've made Her smile or brought Her comfort, extremely gratifying too. It's like a spiritual release and just eases the tightness that sometimes happens inside. If i am in a position where i cannot or may not help, i will go a bit stir crazy so i will look for something unrelated to do that will help someone. i'm also learning to tell Her when i feel that way because i have way too hyper of a personality for the average person to enjoy it when i go stir crazy!

I am not sure about others, but I love OTK spankings and those spankings are definately part of the gradification that I give and personally receive. However if I am being punished I am usually bent over something or forced to bend over with my hands upon my knees. Those swats seem harder and more direct. They do not give me the sence of fulfillment. All they do is hurt!! Master never plays for fun or gradification when I am being pinished. So not only do I have to endure the punishment, I am also forbidden to play. So for me spankings and punishments are seperate things and never mixed
