I've worn glasses for thirty years now; what I've learned - 1) the steaming up problem - overcome by a tiny drop of washing up liquid polished across the lenses 2) you need two pairs minimum - one normal, one sunglasses. When (not if) you lose, misplace or break one pair you'll be glad for the other 3) you need a special repair kit with tiny screwdrivers to tighten the screws which hold the lens in the frame; these come undone over time. Superglue to refit the supports on your nose is also good. 4) dandruff and eyelashes, make up etc will gather behind the lenses, which you wont notice but others will. You need to carry a soft cloth to clean them every now and then 5) sweat! this also gathers where the glasses dam its natural flow; nose supports will turn green with algae and you'll get blackheads and spots if you dont take care! 6) new glasses take time to get used to - the first day or so everything feels weird, but your balance will adjust 7) girls dont make passes at boys in glasses, and vice versa. but luckily as we all grow older, men will make passes at ladies in glasses E
