Ok here is a subject I havent seen here.

Vampirism and bloodplay.

I do admit I enjoy the taste of blood, I dont concider myself a practicioner of Vampirism.

I was just curious about the general populasous views on the subject.

Just throwing a subject out there for the masses to sink their teeth into *grin*

i'm your typical human vamp. can't get enough of it. although it isn't something that plays to much into our sex life or bdsm Its more of a closeness thing for us. As we are both into blood play.

Hubby and I both have vampiric tendancies, as in we both love blood play, the taste, the smell, the feel of it. It can also be used as a way to draw energy from someone. We both follow careful guidelines when taking/exchanging blood (i.e. no using teeth to break the skin, no using the mouth directly on a cut/puncture to take blood, and only sharing with each other). Not to mention is a great way to strengthen the bond between us. I think vampirism is a great thing, so long as you're informed on the how's and wherefore's of it.

The whole concept is fascinating - from the life essence perspective, to the textures and taste etc... people use and experiment in vampirism for different reasons... vampirism is attractive to me because of the different perspectives... even blood play/vampirism artwork is fascinating to me.

I guess I'll put my 5 cents in. I'm not quite that big on the subject on vampirism and blood play. I'm just not turned on or affected by the idea. I'm a big fan gore filled horror movies though lol. I have friends and all that are into that kind of thing but i don't find any attraction to it.

I think you are mainly going to get replies from people that are into it, and not the views of the masses.

While I totally respect the views of those who enjoy blood-play,I would have to say that this is a limit for Me. I would be worried about causing too big a wound to be easy to take care of after a scene, and worry about the extent of the pain felt by the one who's blood you are tasting.

Im also squemish. Btw, Im presuming Dommes/Doms have limits too?.Or am I just a wimp??. lol.

Oh..and to me (and the Vampire I am speaking with) this is not bloodplay.

I do participate in 'bloodplay' sometimes..knives and needles and sharp shiney things....letting Master Archer or someone else release the blood and sometimes fingerpaint on my skin.
