i sorta heard "whips in spaaaaaaace" like "pigs in space" from the Muppet Show... i don't know what i was expecting when i clicked the link, but this was still funny..

that being said, seeing miss-piggy in full Domme gear, woulda been pretty much the best thing evar... for this title

Can't help but wonder if NASA ever researched orgasms or intercourse in space. And I wonder how fucked up a kid conceived in space as part of a NASA experiment would turn out to be?

I had the same "Pigs in Space" moment. Then I started to wonder if a whip impacts with as much force in zero gravity or not, and if it hurts as much. Hey what can I say, I'm a masochist.

The Muppets reference was deliberate -- I'm glad some of you enjoyed it.

Sex in space would be awkward: because of Newton's second law, thrusting would push the couple apart. Some sort of bondage would be required. Yes, folks, kinky sex is the only kind you could have. There's also the problem of -- and I'm struggling to phrase this delicately -- droplets of liquid floating around the ship and getting in people's eyes and short-circuiting the electrical equipment and stuff like that. On the up side, whips would be just as effective as gravity plays almost no role in the action of a whip. (To see this, compare the difference in sensation between being struck with a whip and having one dropped on you from a few feet up.)

Okay. So I guess I could pretend it was a cultural icon from a traditional horse breeding culture. But uh...The article says she might use it on the crew...So much for that image.
