As an almost daily headache or migraine sufferer, I think all of the suggestions so far are right on target. I have a few suggestions to add.. What LA said was exactly right. Many headaches occur to to dehydration. In general, once you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated. It's always a good idea to drink water all throughout the day, thirsty or not... You need to be able to differentiate between a stress headache, a cluster headache and a migraine.. Next, (don't laugh) brush your teeth, toungue and palate with a nice minty toothpaste..(I said not to laugh! It really helps me!).. Then, by all means crack your neck! Stretch your neck muscles too.. When you go to a Chiropractor and get adjusted, it helps to relieve much of the muscle tension that factors into a developing headache.. (Massage works wonders as well).. Pay attention to the types of foods you eat. There are numerous migraine triggers (easily researched on the internet). Find yours. Mine are sugar, chocolate and alcohal.. If you wear contacts, take them out and put your glasses on.. Get your ass off the computer! Don't read or watch TV.. I feel for you!
