"Give away" mentioned as a hard limit means what?

Hello,

Im sure I will be corrected if this is wrong, but I believe "Give away" is when one has a slave and one decides to be finished with her/him and gives them to somebody else as that other person's property.

So it would be a hard limit in that the slave does not wish to be given to other people without any say in the matter.

not really a correction but an expansion on M. Sinergy's answer - the person does not neccessarily have to be finished with the slave - the slave could also be 'given away' for any set period of time, after which they would return to their owner, but during that time would have to obey the person they were given to as they would their owner

therefore, give away as a hard limit does indeed mean the slave in question does not wish to be given to another person without any say in the matter, whether temporarily or permanently

I have given my sub away a couple of times.. for the night.. or to do what ever the other Master wanted... it was mutual though... he (the other Master) did some business for me.. so as payment, he got my sub for a day .... there were restrictions though put on by myself, out of respect for her, as we talked about it before it happened.... And when she returned, she was happy she had the opportunity to serve someone else for the day, gave her an insight on how other Doms worked.....

I think this could be a powerful bonding experience between Master and slave. To know that one was so owned that she could be given away as payment is one of the most erotic elements of an M/s relationship.

That said, there is no way I would ever give my property away unless it was to a person with whom I would trust my own life. I can invision various scenarios where my property would think she had been given away (blindfolds, hidden cams, etc), but I was monitoring the scene the entire time. Hmmm...puts me in the mood to write a new story.
