I had an email interaction that really put me off, and before I go into detail, I would like to know, do you ladies use your male partners as your personal mail screeners and event/social planners?

I use a g/f as a social planner, because I tend to forget what I've got planned. If a boy could take that over, that would be awesome, but it's not something I'd expect. LS

Personal email, not so much. I like to handle that myself, though it would be nice for someone else to screen out some of the random twats that like to email me on here, or if I had kink friendly business to attend to. As for other clerical duties, yes please. For example, I would be ecstatic if I had a boy or girl to help maintain a site for me, or to datamine or dig up research for me. I can do it, but I don't like to. I'd rather be working on the meat of whatever it is I'm doing, and let someone else cover the details. I have the same theory behind whipping the ends of rope. [8D] Social planning and organizing would also be damn handy. You mean someone else will herd the cats so I don't have to? Fuckin' sweet! Oh, and someone that can handle cards for me? Nice. Oh oh... and prepping my gear (heh... and sometimes me, I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached) to go out? Yeah baby!

I read my own mail.. honestly none of thier biz. ( unless it is house bills, then, opened, on the stack.. entered in the ledger by my girl.) We help make my sched.. or I enform them what we are doing.. dont make any plans.. ( I'm HoH.. so I roll like that.. LOL J/K) but none of this because I am male, or because I am Dom/me or because I dont trust you BS... Out they would go.. no thanks. I also do not fill out my own paperwork or forms.. my girl does it all for me. she is none too fond of my handwritting. When I hired her to work at my office any paperwork of mine went directly into her in bin. smiles Gwyn

I'd be soooooooooooo happy if someone would do my filing and keep my calendar organized better for me, but this is up to them really, it's not something I would require. He could read my email if he wanted, but I don't have a problem sorting it out myself. l

No, can't say that I do. I prefer going through My email Myself. On a rare occasion, I'll have My boy handle an RSVP or something like that, but it doesn't happen very often.

Hello Ladies, very respectfully, please i just could not help myself from reacting to this wonderfull thread. i'm today, a mature submissive man. But some 10 years ago, i was a shemale at the time and i've had the happiness to serve a local Pro- Domme. i was a maid slave. Among my varied and numerous tasks & chores, i was used as Her personal secretary and i have adored this lo- vely part of Servitude. From Her event/social calendar planning to ge- neral paperwork, internet researches (my ex-Mistresswas very invol- ved in BDSM all over the world or almost), reception and answering general and sometimes personal mail and even bank deposits. The only two things that i was not allowed to care of, was Her emails and anything related to or with Her clientele. i was not either the phone receptionnist. Of course, i was not assigned to these responsabilities right at the be- ginning. it took some 2 to 3 yeras, before She trusted me enough. i ha- ve at Her SERVICE for some 5 to almost six (6) wonderful years... Today, i would still be very much to be or become, the personal secreta- ry of a Dominant Woman, not necessarily Pro. No, I'm far too much of a control freak. I don't think anyone else in the world can do it properly. As for the revolting emails, I quite enjoy answering them myself. As most know, I like to poke the monkeys because they squeal.[:D]

I never have yet, and probably wouldn't. Mind you, I think it's an excellent use if both are inclined and he's capable... I'm just the sort that can't hand over such a thing to be managed by someone else, no matter how well I know they'd handle it.

No, no, no. Anyone wants my family or me anywhere they had best tell me. Fox will let me know but it is not part of his job to keep track of my very busy life -- if he didn't need to have his own job I would expect him to do these things but financially, especially right now, that isn't possible if we want to keep our house. Telling Tom is like telling no one frankly. Fox does function as my personal assistant at kink events or book readings/signings. I do think of having a future slave function as my secretary but the requires include a background in Classical studies or ancient history to really be of utmost use to me and I know that seriously limits the pool of potentials.

e01n has pretty much become they guy in charge during the day. He brings in the mail, filters out the bills and handles that for me by writing the checks, filling out the ledger and leaving them for my husband or me to review and sign. He doesn't read my email for me; I would love to incorporate that aspect as I hate filtering through it all. Maybe one day. I don't get personal emails and even if I did, there's nothing so personal as he wouldn't be privy to seeing. I have full trust in his care of my family, home and of me. We as a family have a daytimer to keep schedules straight. With two adults working full time with some variation in hours, a UM in school and also a cheerleader, trying to get in time for things like fun for the family, and any other varying things we do, a daytimer is essential and everyone is responsible for ensuring their needs are on the calandar or it could be overlooked. Anything I ask, he does. Today he will be calling the company from whom I purchased my violet wand because it has a short and it's not that old. He handles issues like calling anyone who needs calling during the day as I am out of the house about 13 hours a day. If I need or want something special done in the course of the day I know it will happen. Period. e01n is also my personal photograph editor and ensures all photos are edited for color and cropping and ensuring they are as I may want them. He keeps the house in a wonderful condition, my kitchen is ALWAYS clean when I come home and the other rooms are as neat as one can expect with young UMs. Lastly, and quite importantly, he is indeed my Mr. Belvidere and takes amazing care of UMs. They love him and he considers them as his own. I never worry about the well being of my family in his loving, thoughtful care. So if that stuff makes him my personal secretary...then yes, I do.

Thanks for your input! When I was working professionally, I would have loved a reliable secretary....but then I would have missed some seriously hilarious calls. What got my gears grinding was that I was approached by this couple to meet with them for dinner, since they are nearby and new to the scene. Mr Sub handled ALL the talking, I never spoke to her. Now I have no issue with talking to the sub, though I do prefer to talk to the female half of a couple, but I really got the feeling that I was being handled like a phone solicitor or something. Could have just been my reaction, but I still feel rather annoyed that a person who has met me IRL at a munch couldn't be bothered to write me personally. Color me cranky, I guess!

Oh definately! We both check our own emails and such, but the house mail is all hers, she distributes it accordingly, even checks the "junk" mail (ads and such) to see if any of it would be of interest to either of us. She also makes the calls to get appointments, discuss billing errors and things like that... yes, there are times when (with my permission) she pretends to be me so that they won't hassle her about being the one calling. I hate making those kind of calls. She also does all the research on the computer or in books, here at home or at the library, that we need done. She also prepares correspondence between us and companies that we are having to deal with, takes care of our taxes and works as a human calendar reminding us of obligations. On special occasions or for parties, she plans (and prepares) the menus, does the decorating of the house (inside and out) and even does an awesome job of decorating cakes. She also wraps 90% of the gifts here (I decorate hers). Beyond that she is also responsible for getting the local grocery to stock the kind of coffee hubby drinks and is working on getting the local liquor store to stock a certain kind of beer that we have problems locating. *Would we use a sub/slave as a personal secretary? Wouldn't you if you had someone that was a adept at it as she is?* *Jewel*
