Fancy overpriced guncase, but it's pretty! Aluminum. Have a cool vintage one I may gut and modify.
When I used to fence we used those rolling golf cases, they're great! But I don't have that much stuff. The gun case is divided into sections and if it's longer than a rifle barrel I haven't got one yet. I'm looking for a smaller cool bag for smaller goods; I actually have a black eelskin breifcase that would work... good idea.
Any way I have guns, so if I outgrow the classy case it will go back to the original job, but as a sub I decided to get my own toys because of germ passage, the guys have a hundred panic snaps and chains and stuff, I just don't want to share certain things, you know? I need to figure out a way to hang the floggers in the barrel section- I invested in a hellacious wicked piece from Lord Archer's hand and it should't be all rolled up.

I sewed a custom soft case that is sort of like a travel cosmetics or jewelry bag that rolls up for all the small toys. I made all sorts of compartments that unzip and have clear pockets so you can see what's in each compartment. I also sewed sheaths for the floggers and paddles. Yes. I am obsessive compulsive and have to have everything organized!

How about a (plastic) chainsaw case for a 'toy bag'.  Imagine the reaction showing up at a party with it.  And only let the sub/bottom see it once they are tied.

I've got an old beat up tool box, I've been using for many years, it kind of goes with my usual serial killer fetish wear, but Im' thinking about switching over to a guitar gig bag. I like the chainsaw case idea! could be great for chain and shackles.

We tend to travel fairly light, so the only toy bag we carry is a large leather duffel that holds everything but the Kaptin's crop and my steel cane.

a $30 trunk from K-mart with two 2x4's in the top with hooks in them... you stand it on it's side and voila you have a toy rack with your toys all hanging nicely and it can close and lock to keep out unwanted guests.

What are you currently using, and why?

Years and years ago, I originally just used a random gym bag that I had. It was big enough to carry everything I had at the time.

From there, I stopped going out, so I switched to a cheap set of black plastic drawer that I filled up completely.

Next, after moving, I just kept everything boxed up in the moving boxes for a few years, having no use for them. Dammit.

Finally having a use for them again (and needing them to be mobile), I switched to a larger gym bag until that one was filled to capacity.

Currently I use the travel bag that came with my set of power tools. It's very large (and very heavy by now) and has a nice wide mouth when opened. I need to travel with my toys more than my power tools, so it works out well.

But I'm at a point where I'll probably be using them more at home than on the road, so I may end up building myself a storage cabinet down in the basement to store everything there instead. I'm really tempted to wall off a section of the basement and use that as a dungeon area, but I haven't convince my wife that that's a good idea yet. I'd mutter something about "why couldn't she be my sub", but if she was then I wouldn't even be concerned about walling anything off. The whole basement'd be the dungeon.

It's been my dream to have one of those steamer trunks, maybe with the curved lid. I've always loved the look of them. I'd cover the old inside with plastic liner or truck bed liner so it would be easily cleaned. I would love for it to have a reinforced lid. So I could even use it to tie down a sub when no other surface is available. It would be plenty big enough for anything I could need.

For now I just use my luggage and a small lockbox.
I love the guitar case idea!

We use a golf bag. It has plastic dividers that are wonderful to hang floggers, straps, etc on by just using those cheap metal clips (like carabeeners). It came with a "rain cover" which we just pull down over the top to hide/protect our toys when we travel. The bag is really sturdy, so nothing gets squished on the way to an event.

I have an ottoman with a drawer that holds my floggers, rope, books and hardware.  My headboard also decoratively holds more rope.

I've been trying to figure out how to come up with a good  bag/case that would be rugged yet light weight, and would have built-in legs so that I can raise it to waist height for ready access during play.

One of our local munch/educational groups had a couple come in (Sergeant Major and his slave) and he had a hard-sided case of some kind (I think it was a square hard-sided guitar case) and then a separate stand that he set up.  Once set up he could hang his floggers from it and otherwise lay things out.  However, with the stand being separate, it didn;t quite meet my "optimum" setup of being all in one.  The stand was just a smidge too big to fit into the case itself.

I have seen "portable gift wrapping stations" such as this (http://tinyurl.com/2gxj7v) but I'd think the plastic is too lightweight to be of much use and certainly isn't rugged enough to send through on an airplane or handle any kind of pre-convention banging around.  Plus the color sucks and probably wouldn't paint very well.  But, the basic principle with something black/aluminum with built in stands would be great!

Of course, it would be too heavy for moving up and down stairs for those basement dungeon parties, so maybe it's not so great an idea ...

I use gym bags primarily as toy bags, though I also have a wooden box built like a suitcase with a sturdy hasp for a good lock. I also have PVC pipe containers and heavy plastic fishing rod/arrow cases which work great for canes, crops and long handled floggers.

You can get a folding work bench at Sears or Checker auto parts (much cheaper)or other places, which makes a good portable stand for a suitcase type toy box. Mine also has several tool holders on it, but a great addition is a 36 " long 3/8 to 1/2" diameter dowel clamped in the work bench jaws. You can hang lots of toys from that.

We've got all our toys in a variety of containers... Canes and crops are usually stored in a nice tube. The electrical toys all have their own hard-shell handgun cases that can be locked if traveling. We have a small duffle that has various lengths of rope that I've prepared from the 600' spool I got. We then have another gym bag that holds the bulk of the toys with separate compartments. We also have an extensive first aid kit that goes along with the toy bags all the time.

Large Canvas duffel bag, medium size suitcase and smaller gym/utility bags.  Need small soft tool bag for handling all the chains.

My full complement of toys will not fit into any one vessel so I use a mixture of things. For a weekend trip to my submissive's house the bulk of my toys are carried in one of those ubiquitous suitcases with wheels and a retractable handle that you see by the thousands in any airport terminal. I keep all of my needle play supplies in a fishing tackle box. I rehabilitated an old nylon camera bag to carry the old school violet wand and accessories that I bought on eBay. I have a black canvas bag (not unlike a woman's purse) that I carry smaller things in.

Like Taboo, I'm a little anal about packing and such so many items go into individually marked ZiplockĀ© bags. You have to be careful about that. I have found that some metals can tarnish if stored in this fashion. I store those items in small cloth bags with drawstrings.

Good ideas in this thread. I like the PVC pipe carrier for long items. I'm surprised I didn't think to use a guitar case. I have several handy since my guitars remain on their stands most of the time. I've seen other dominants using the hard golf cases at the local dungeon. Looks like a great alternative to the old duffel bag.

While repsonding to another thread I came across this site..... http://www.trunkoutlet.com/home

Looks like the wheeled trunks would be a great choice for those with lots of gear to store / transport.
