I know of a sub who regularly goes to private fetish events and is EXTREMELY into ashtray play......as am I. My concern with him is that he wants to eat the butts of the cigarettes - and is fed them by every Domme who smokes. Isn't that fiberglass? Will that just pass through his system? He's been doing this for ages and seems healthy enough, but then he's also ingesting the tar and such........???

I think the main concern is usually the possibility of nicotine poisoning, although that is an interesting question about possible intestinal blockages due to the filters. There have been reports of birds and animals dying due to intestinal blockage by the filters of cigarette butts that they have eaten, so, depending on the number he eats at one time, that might be a concern. I would think that longterm consequences would be an increased risk of cancer in mouth/throat/stomach/intestines. Here is some information about nicotine poisoning.

i know for a fact that cigarette butts are NOT biodegradable because of the filters. i found this out when i went deep sea fishing and they wouldn't let anyone throw the butts overboard with the filters attached. i'm thinking that if it isn't biodegradable, it shouldn't be eaten!

I dont smoke anymore, but when I did, I had a boy that use to eat My butts while they were still lite even, he never got sick. The human body is huge compaired to birds and can handle much more, as long as he is not eating like 20 a day, I can not see a problem. My boy did it for years and never got sick.

i think maybe the acid in the tummy would kill anything in the cigs, but not realy sure.

My Wife/Mistress used mee as her ashtray often. I digested many of them over the years we were together and to the best of my knowledge have no adverse effects from her rituals. The only polite way I can put this is to say they were passed from the body in a natural way nearly intact. The filters might have swolen up some but stayed intact. Any stub other than the filter would pass un-noticed as the paper and tobacco was not a match for the digestive system

Eating fiberglass can lead to Mesothelioma in 20 to 30 years.

Eating the butts sans filters would just lead to nasty bad breath.
