[;)]  I tried to jinx something by very lightly mentioning it in the message boards...but surprise, surprise, the jinx wouldn't stick.  It's been at least 3 1/2 years since I had an interest this keen over anyone.
 
I am so not interested now in all those friendly local bottoms I had lined up.  I feel a little guilty...but on the other hand...it's their fault for not sending me letters every blessed day like this one has... 
 
Ok, now I think I probably jinxed it. [:D]

So, after talking with a friend I got to thinking....

Why do people need to share things that are obviously going to hurt the person they are sharing with?

I have three theories.

1. They are clueless.
2. They don't have common sense.
3. They want to be hurtful.

Questions I ask myself when disclosing information that might possibly be hurtful.

1. Is there a positive benefit going to occur by my sharing said information?
2. What are my motives behind sharing said information?

My mind is just thinking here so excuse the rambling....

Yea, we all have bad days and at some point we're going to say something or do something that's going to hurt someone. I suppose what I don't get is the intentional act of doing or saying something just to hurt or piss someone off.

Believe me, there have been countless times where I've wanted to spout off and say something completely cruel in response to what I saw as a lame ass comment.
