Hello All,

i am a sub male new to bdsm. i am trying to find ways to make/find homemade equipment. i looked at past threads and most seem to be about how to make floggers. so far i have used clothespens, rope, and random items to serve as weights. thanks for any ideas.

Well, for CBT I bet you could get creative with some soft leather straps and fishing weights. Just a thought.

A quick trip to your hardware store and about $10 worth of parts can provide the makings for a 'nice' ball crusher.

I belong to it and got some great ideas on home made toys. I made a Chastity Penis Cage from some Perferated Copper Strap and Penis Pants and Penis Sheathes from sewing Vinyl Material.

Home Depot is the best BDSM Toy Store on the planet. I can get lost in there for hours. My wife had to braid her own flogger from a piece of rope like a British Navy Cat. A little creativity goes a long, long way.

I found fishing weights at wal-mart the sizes are between 1oz(8p/pack)-4oz(4p/pack) packages.The heavier weights you can get at a deep sea fishing store.I bought some plant "S" hooks in the hardware section of wal-mart and put them on the weights to use with the parachute I have.I made:I should say My slave girl made: one of the potty chairs that goes for 400.00,she did it for 200.00.Home depot had the threaded steel pipe,springs and fittings everything you need,the funny part of this story...W/we put it together in home depot,then W/we were trying out how different toilet seats would work.Not too many people came down that aisle.[:D] A website that also has some great ideas is www.frugaldomme.com

Another thing I make are homemade ballgags,I buy the super huge bouncyballs(superball) slave girl drills a hole and I put a piece of leather cord through it.Works excellent.Being a Pro-Domme,I dont like to reuse that type of stuff so making it is way cheaper for Me.

I'm digging the ball gag one. With your permission I will have to try that out on our sub. I'm getting that warm tingle (you're a Top..you know the one I mean) thinking about making her go into a grocery store or local Wally - World with a pocket full of quarters, pumping them into those little machines at the door and testing each one that comes out for fit until she gets just the right size... That could take an hour or more.... Thanks for the Idea

I'm glad I could help.
I have My sub doing the same thing,handful of quarters at Hannaford or Wallys.

When doing the drilling...she found that if you start off with a smaller drill bit first,it doesnt rip the ball apart.

Sassy that ball gag thing is a great idea.  I've been trying to figure how to make one.  I'd even taken apart plumbing fixtures to get the floater balls out to use those.  Never thought about super balls.  The floater balls don't work, by the way.  They're too brittle. 

I've made a rod to use like a rafter for making them stand on their toes, and I suppose you could use it for suspension.  In the corner of my play room, I put a closet rod mounting bracket on each wall, put a short piece of closet rod in each one, and then connected the two with a piece of pipe bent at the local hardware store.  I've used it with girls who were around 130lbs. and had no problems.  You can do a 360 degree walk around.  It's nice.

Sounds like a nice design for some purposes, but no bloody way would I rely on two shower curtain rod brackets to suspend anybody.  I've torn down my own shower curtain rod completely by accident too many times (had my hand on it, pushed up a little, and POP!) to have any faith in the power of those brackets.

I don't trust the rod either, come to that.  The rods I'm familiar with are like extremely thin-walled pipe, and with a little effort you can bend them with your bare hands.  I'd want much stronger materials and a much more secure attachment system -- something that bolts directly into a stud, a joist, or concrete.





[Edit:  Whoops!  I misread the post!  It was closet rod, not shower curtain rod.  Those brackets and rods are designed to hold a lot more weight.  I'm still dubious about the L-shape though.]

Fun comes in many forms , a stroll through any hardware store will yield an idea or three.

Containers that can be filled with water have often served as improvised weights for  many a playtime, sizes and colours abound so getting something that is just the right mass should be no problem.  For the more creative who might require something particulary cruel , unusual or merely a perfect fit , google for "Polymorph Plastic"(uk) or "Friendly Plastic" (USA) ,this miracle of chemistry is a plastic that behaves like clay /putty when hot (80-90 degrees centagrade)  and sets solid when cool at room temperature. Mould to your darkest desires, I've used it to make butt plugs , mouth bits , and various other restraints.




BE WARNED 80 degrees centagrade will feel bloody hot on your fingers let alone more sensitive places of the body!

In addition to Home Depot and Wally-World, try PetSmart -- It's a wonderful place to get collars and crops (dog and horse sections, respectively).  And once your imagination is going, all other sorts of 'pet' accessories start to spark the imagination.

I agree with spacewarp using petsmart. I go there since they do have great collars/leashes, and other assortment of toys that I use on my sub. I actually just recently bought a riding crop the other day using petsmart.
