topcat -> a different cat- (7/1/2004 6:08:55 PM)

My name is Lawrence, and that generally what people call me, except for the ones that call me Ramón or Kurt, for reasons I have failed to gather. "topcat" is in rememberance of a friend and mentor in the scene who in a drunken disscussion told me- "it's OK- you're a top sorta cat", which we fuond hysterical (ya hadda be there).

I smoke just about enough, and drink more coffee than I should. I read voraciously and spell terribly. I ride a motorcycle every day, cept when it snows (when I just stay home). I have vast and wildly unsubstantiated opinions on subjects that I am completely unaware of.

In my youth I traveled as a iterate Buddhist missionary among the peoples of the American south, in later years I traveled among the people of South America in the pay of shadowy figures obsessed with pre-Christian iconography. I have sunk ships, wrecked cars and broken hearts. I have screwed the inscrutable, and gleamed the sphere. I sing rather well, which surprises me. I can tie a cherry stem in a bowline with my tongue. I will play a Dylan or Tom Waits CD on repeat, day and night, till strangers come to my house and make me stop. I am disturbed by the resemblance my landlord has to a gummy bear. I work shirtless in the hot sun till my body gleams with sweat. I shoot a consistent three-inch group at ten meters with a pistol, and three hundred meters with a rifle. I am always the first to hear, and the last to know.

I drink big bright blue fruity margaritas (in a pint glass) and pull it off. (I'm the slightly bashed up guy in full leathers at the end of the bar with the girly drink- you gonna give ME a hard time<g>).

I served From 81-85 in the USMC [Sgt./ E-5] and was on the ground in Columbia, Norway, Beirut, and Granada.

I can generally teach a bird, Dog, Cat or Horse a new trick within two hours of having met it.

I have lived in NY, Nice, Marrakesh, Kyoto, SF, Galveston, and Panama.

I have ridden a motorcycle from NY to Key West, Caribou Maine, and San Diego (not all in the same day<g>) and from France to Morocco.

I'd like to take this moment to thank those who's participation here has enriched my life and broadened my horizons. Thank you.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

You are a natural flirt, simply and deliciously irresistable, and incredibly lucky that I don't "qualify", lol. Or you'd be Mine forever! Oh My My! *fannin face*

topcat -> RE: a different cat- (7/1/2004 6:58:45 PM)

M. Beckett-

Flirt? Me? <s>.

I should have quailified that- I do have poke around the jar a bit to find just the _right_ cherry stem<g>.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Lawrence,

You have entirely too much time on your hands and you forgot to mention your internet addiction ;-)

Cherry in a bowline? I'll have to tell my sister to start working on a new trick. I can't come close to such feats. However, there are a few other things I do well.

As for the quote above, how long does it take you to teach a submissive a new trick?

p.s. my profile is as close to an intro as I'm going to get at this hour... I cc:d it over from bondage.com

I'll be in SF for Folsom this year- The first rounds on me ('cause the party never gets smaller<g>)

I'll be the guy kissing Bailey

Stay warm,
Lawrence

::smiles:: well Sir,, if you make it through Vegas,, please be sure to let me know,,,,

ShadeDiva -> RE: a different cat- (7/6/2004 10:35:36 PM)

Woohooo!

Bailey is a lucky gal and so are YOU mister! (but then I have the feeling ya both know that lol)

We tend to work the Fair every year (we consider it a working day and a long and tiring one, lol - but damn it's fun!) so no doubt I'll be lugging a camera or three and finding killer shots that sum up the fair along with Ray. No booth this year, but perhaps next year!

Might sneak up on yas two and capture one of the sweet quiet in the now moments I love to get at Folsom! hehe

Hmmm tribe.net ... yanno I've heard of it over the years but don't think I've ever checked it out - mayhaps I ought to change that!

~ShadeDiva, who sooooooooo doesn't need to find another awesome communtiy tee hee!

Thank you! Lawrence says you & I have met. I admit I can't put a face to this nick... so please stop me and say hello next time we cross paths?

I think we will try to set up some kind of CollarMe meet & greet during Folsom. Stay tuned!

And for more of Topcat's ass, see the link in my sig line.
