to xoxi:) Hi...just a quick and cheap thought regarding the flogger mess and works with hanks of rope too, is to use old stockings or panyhose legs, slide the stocking over the top you can put two or three into one  and lay out or round, keeps the tails nice and straight and untangled.... I use  a different one for different materials, I had a playmate who was allergic to horsehair and rubber, so they went into different stockings.

I would also say you dont have to spend alot to get alot , examples of places to shop would be Lowes or as a subbie of mine says after i shop there  Loathes , dollar store s , thrift stores ,garage sales ,ebay ,the fetish auctioneer , vendor at events  ,swap meets ,craft stores to make your own toys .Using these places  will expand your pevertable toy collection Fast .Pevertables are great but also when you do buy items  like a whip or flogger or even a violet wand or tens unit  spend the money for quality and buy it once .I would rather buy one flogger for for 120.00 VS a cheap 30.00$ flogger that will not last and i have to keep replacing .Medical supply houses other great place's  , as in vet , feed and tack , pets mart .Rope can be had all over from military stores to hardware stores , to rei and more .Spencers has shocking items  and  some fun stuff ,bed bath and beyond  holds fun finds aswell .Now that you have the  safety items and some toys  keep them  in good working order and restocked , learn to condition and care  for your toys  and they shall last .

In my toy bag, I've added some really inexpensive toys that go a long way. I have a few wooden utensils that have been coated in Plasti-Dip, clothespins, rope, and my favorite a large roll or two of plastic/pallet wrap.

I'd make sure that you pick up quality items that will last you a long time and provide a long lifetime of fun. A quality matched set of floggers and a singletail from Happy Tails would be a good idea if you are into that kind of play. Pick the play that you like and go from there.

I am so glad You brought this up, I was hoping someone would, one cant just "figure it out" with any toy, and really best to not just read up on some things as well, but make sure to be trained by someone who is respected and speacilizes in that area, hopefully will be easy to find someone in the local community, years of experience does not mean one can pick up any toy and use it properly/safely.

That being said, am I the only one thinking how nice it would be to have a NICE set of floggers for floruntine?  I would certainly go nuts on the floggers, really that is about all I really need to add to my set, I mean I have lots of floggers, but everyone is always SO different, even for the one throwing it!  mmmm *smiles*  That is of course considering furniture is out, I could use lots of that!!!  Good luck hun and wow, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!
