Because you come to Me and offer up Your body for my unrestricted use, To punish or caress as I see fit, I grant you My protection from the world, From My unbridled violence and your own neglect. Because you come to Me and think yourself Somehow unworthy of what I bestow, I take from you the right to name your worth. Your value I alone may set -- 'tis high, And none (yourself included) may say otherwise. Because you come to Me and seek to learn All that I may teach of pain or joy, I promise I will show you all I can Of pleasures that the beige-hued world knows not Or, ever knowing, scarce could comprehend. Because you come to Me in simple trust, Believing I will do all I have said, And walking past your fears and through your doubt, I vow I'll ever strive to earn your faith And prove My word to you is worth My life. Because you come to Me in naked truth, Uncovered by the veil of modesty, Unsheltered by deceit or trickery, I now declare the beauty I behold And gratefully accept the gift you bring. I grant, I take, I promise and I vow. I now declare that all I've said is true -- Because you come to Me.
