I do quality woodworking, and make spanking paddles for parents, etc. I just tend to work in more exotic woods. Like my favorite, "Canary wood", which is usually yellowish, but I buy it with streaks of reds, This wood can have browns and some sometimes hints of green. My stock is always figured in some way and trying to always find it with pretty streaks of red. I take the time to sand down to 600 grit which by itself is silky smooth like glass. Then wipe a little clear natural Danish oil on it which preserves the wood, and mostly to bring out those gorgeous figured grains. Then buff it out to a mirror shine before shipping. I provide the leather raw hide to hang it on too. Two sizes. Single cheek or both. Standard Length 15-1/2 inches long. And bit longer.  I also work in Mahogany, hard Maples, curly and quilted, and standard with nice wavy grains. Cherry, Walnut, Hickory, etc, etc.

Anything really will do the job, but if your someone who appreciates pretty figure woods hand sanded to perfection, then contact me.

Canary wood Description
(Centroloblum orinocense) Straight grain with a medium to coarse texture. Yellow color with streaks of a variety of reds, gold's, hints of green, browns, and if I can find it, bright white hard sap. Color will age to a deep golden yellow tone. This wood is expensive, but it will be a treasure as a collectable. Many use this wood in wood bowel turnings and high quality furniture, custom flooring, etc. Comes from Central America.
