Ok I have a question. I like to keep shaved I find it neater that way,but I have sensitve skin and get bad razor burn.On top of being unsightly it hurts.Any suggestions on how to cut down/cut out razor burn in such a sensitve area? In case you haven't noticed I'm not talking about my underarms, lol!

You can Nair most of it, just do not get it on the actually genitalia - your clit, the hood or the lips. Other then that - I can shave the outter lip area with little problem, but the mound (above the clit area) I just sorta leave trimmed really low.

I'm allergic to nair, I have really sensitive skin. I'm willing to try anything to help though!

have you tried something like avon moisture therapy? It is a heavy cream almost like vaseline, what I do is leave that area a bit moist and than I rub a good dab of it on that area and it helps releive the discomfort and also the upper most part of my legs tend to get those bumps but found that if I use that there it really helps, also do you use a shaving cream or soap there as you shave it kind of gives the razor something to slide on and not just grab skin and hair. Hope this helps

ouchies.. okay. Well, here is one of my better sites for shaving. They sell an electric razor type thing that is supposed to be legendary for not causing razor burn or irritation. The Seiko Cleancut - or something.

This is what i have been using with good success: *Bikini Zone--Anti-Bumps Shave Gel
fights bumps & irritation.....

Then the most important step: *triple antibiotic creme directly following shaving!
*to ALL newly shaved areas...if still problem/apply next day too

That itch? that drive you crazy itch? i don't get it anymore at all.[:)]
no bumps, no irritation, no razor burn. The Bikini Zone is a lifesaver.
(and i stopped pressing so hard i found doing more runs, w/razor better then pressing harder) just for me....anyway...but i hope this helps[8|]

I agree with the antibiotic used after shaving. I do it religiously after every shave and one day after. I have little trouble with the bumps until it starts to grow back. A brazilian wax is about the only other thing that will take it all off. I love them but at 50.00 a shot, I can't afford it. But if I could, that is what I would do. There is less ingrown hairs and the hair grows back silky and not stiff. It gets you cleaner. You will hae to look around to see who will do a brazilian wax. Not many estheticians will do them. Also, as it is reapeatedly done, little by little, but it's over years, hair folicles are destoyed and less hair grows back. My brows and lip have done this..

So true...very easy for your Master to learn to do, lots of videos etc.. Buy the stuff and it will end up costing about $5 per job. Make sure and get the Brazilian Hard Wax and not the regular one!

i have horribly sensetive skin. i find that using the triple blade razors helps. i tried Bikini Zone and found out the hard way that i am allergic to it. Okay, perhaps in hindsight a small test area would have been a good idea.

The Seiko Clean Cut is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one amazing little machine - doesn't look like anything special, but boy is it great - i have been using one for about 1.5 years & have NEVER cut/nicked myself and don't get bumps the way i do with a razor.

If i had not found this little miracle, there is no way i could keep things shaved. It is easy to use everyday. Just 2 minutes or so, and without even looking, you can take off all the stubble.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing! It does not work on long hair, so if you're starting from scratch you will need to use something else to get the hair down to about 1/4 inch or less.

This is also totally safe and comfy for a man to use on his genitals.


Apparently there are "cheap imitations" of this product, i purchased the "real thing" which was more expensive. i dont' know if there is a difference, but i know mine was worth every penny and more!!

i swear by zone to....i am alergic to alot of the other chemical hair removal things and thought about waxing and while iw as looking at the was at of all places wal mart.. the lady next to me said.. try this it totaly works and is alot less painful than wax.... i have been useing it ever sense ... (wish i would have gotten her number she could have been fun.... )

ok on this subject i have a bit of experience as well!! lol i have ecxema which leaves my skin sensitive and very dry at times ... i have found that dove soap and a good razor with the wires wrapping the blades works wonders after wards i use Avon's silicone glove lotion that stuff is awesomly good about retaining moisture and leaving the skin soft and smooth.. as for the waxing....i wonder if that is anything like useing NADS!! lol yes i was that silly once...only ONCE mind you!! lol left some hellish looking bruises all black and stuff! lol
