Best advice I can give you is to remember a munch is no different then any other social event. You'll find groups you fit in with as well as those that you do not. Don't judge a munch group on just one visit. Attendence changes from meeting to meeting. Don't be afraid to show up and not order food, it's not a requirement at most (I only know of one that requires you eat and those also require prepayment for the meal). Try to not linger at a near by area and just "watch".... gives some people the creeps ya know? lol The ones we attend have a designated person that is "in charge" of the munch and they will take you around and introduce you to others. Typically they watch for new faces and will approach you, but don't be afraid to let someone know you are new if they don't approach you first. Most of all, just relax and be yourself. Be prepared for the conversations to be purely vanilla and as most are in a public venue, dress casual to blend in at say... Applebees? Enjoy! pj
