While going through you tube this morning... I found this one.  HOW could I have forgotten HARRY!!!!!???
 
I was at this concert.  One of his last. I was in the lobby after the concert and didn't realize the table I was standing by was his reception area.  I had written down a lyric that I thought he would enjoy.  I turned around and there he was.  I handed him my scribble..he red it and as I turned to go I felt a strong hand hook my arm and turn me around an planted a kiss on my lips.  I'll never forget that night.
 
And now I give you A Better Place to Be

Okay, I’m kidding. That song nauseates me, too. But I will add my votes to the aforementioned At Seventeen, by Janis Ian, Edmund Fitzgerald, by Gordon Lightfoot, and A Better Place to Be, By Harry Chapin. You can pretty much add just about anything by Harry. You can also add several by Neil Diamond. Red, Red, Wine deserves mention but my favorite Neil Diamond song is, Stones.

Wind beneath my wings makes me cry like a baby, becasue of the associations.
Masterpiece does the same
Always by Atlantic Starr is extremely romantic and makes me think about my exhusband (and the good stuff) since it was my wedding song
Everything I do I do it for you is my all time favorite love song, and depending on who I am dancing to it with, I might cry
Butterfly Kisses makes me bawl ever since my father sang it to me after my divorce and told me he had been practicing becasue he had wanted to surrise me with it at the wedding but never attended

  I'm such a sap, this song has moved me since I was about 12. YouTube - Cat Stevens - How Can I Tell You And I don't know if anyone mentioned this one yet, but   "The way we were" (barbara streisand) does me in every single time.  I can't even bear to listen to it.
