I cannot speak from experience, since the only chastity I experienced was during the first 12 years of my life; however, from my understanding, so long as a device does not cause chafing or have any other abrasive results, and as long as there is proper and regular hygeine, and as long as some regular method of milking is done, I do not think there should be any negative long-term side effects. The milking is mentioned since it is believed that lack of regular ejaculation of seminal fluids may lead to prostate problems at an older age, but then that has not been confirmed as an absolute.
