But if those are night vision binoculars, with all the associated electronics, then the pin-holes in the lens covers would be protecting against an over-light condition.  It would look like the lens caps were on, and indeed they are, even though there are small apertures through them that permit use during the day.  Sure beats having to carry two sets, doesn't it?

I have a night vision binoculars set that that is very similar in appearance to the ones in the picture.

My homeland security Weapons of Mass Destruction had us do a simple calculation, using some improvised dirty-bomb technology basics, and the volume that it would take to wipe out everything from Portland Maine to New York City could be housed in a two-car garage.  Even Saint Hillary voted for invasion based on the intelligence that Sadaam Hussain had WMDs.  The scary part is not that we had satellite images of rockets, bombs and other weapons being loaded onto Russian lorries, but that here, in the United States, under our very noses, a few 'someones' might have a two-car garage or two full of some kind of nuclear or biological weapon that could in theory at least wipe out half the eastern seaboard and another, say in Santa Barbara or Ventura, that could take out everything from San Francisco to the Mexican Border, including Silicon Valley, and east to wipe out Reno and Las Vegas, with very little warning.

Of course he never found any WMDs, LotusSong.  When we saw them, we ignored them.  Then we said that which we ignored did not exist.  Just like Saint Hillary, we have decided they did not exist, just like the Gulag did not exist, and the Holocaust did not exist, and the Pogroms of Poland didn't exist, and the Armenian Genocide did not exist....

Why the goddamn hell do we hate humanity so much?  Why are we so dedicated to allowing the politicians to wipe everyone except "us" who ever that may be in the country you are in off the face of this sorry planet?  Thing is, the political climate in this country seems bent on destroying the United States so the rest of the world will be free of this Capitalist Cancer we live in.

I for one am pretty damn ashamed to be a member of this human race.  Then again, at least I didn't reproduce, and soon will be ending my earthly stay.

Maybe the Roman Catholics are not quite radical enough.  "It is better to marry than to burn" may be too kind.  "Blessed are the paps that never gave suck, blessed is the womb that is never opened" is perhaps more 'correct.'  If everyone became a true Paulist Catholic, the scourge of humanity would be erased from the earth within a hundred years.

That would cure the whole middle east war situation, as well as the 'global warming' controversy, wouldn't it?

Then again, maybe the Muslims wouldn't convert to Roman Catholicism, and they would, finally, win their Thousand Year War with the Christian world.  That would let them concentrate on wiping out the Jews, the Hindus, the Taoists, and all other Enemies of the One and True Merciful Allah without interference from a secular power such as the deeply divided United States of America.
This was written with the 'reply' box at the bottom of the page.  It is not addressed at anyone, though it is addressed at everyone. At least everyone that is expounding on technology they most likey do not understand.

Don't forget, we gave him plenty of warning [a few months] that we were going to come look.  At which time he packed 'em up and sent 'em over the porder to syria, according to his own people and some of our sat. images.
