I'm so not a Master, but I do personally think that what makes a good submissive is being willing. Willing to try, to please, and to do her best. It's not always about the desination, but rather about the road that leads to that point.

A person who accepts who are they and displays: humility, obedience, loyalty, honesty, intelligence, communicative skills, open mindedness, sexually experimentative. For ME that makes a good submissive, for others it could be entirely something else. ~Lashra

Focus is everything. Maintaining focus is the trick though for both; not allowing mundane issues to crowd out what you're about.

Someone who is comfortable with their submission and is not acting out a fantasy. They have chosen a particular path - in other words they are true to themself and thus that honesty will be obvious to the Dom/Master they get involved with

That she strive to be a better submissive today than she was yesterday, no matter how many yesterdays are behind her or how many tomorrows lay ahead. That she strive to know herself and to share of herself with me so that I can know her deeply and that when we talk, I am talking to the core of her being, not to the shell that exists for everyone else. That she submits to the man I am, not the eyes closed fantasy image of me. That she participates fully with me in creating a better world for both of us, allowing me to help her become a better person and knowing that I to at times need help and support becoming a better person and that we grow together into something truly greater than either of us could be apart.

Thank you for not being upset! I just could not, not defend..... all of the wonderful men and women who have become such good friends since I joined this site. The fact that some of them are single, does not make them a bad submissive. They just have not found the right dominant for them.
