While Santa is delivering gifts in Australia this year, he is warned not to say "ho ho ho" since some women say it is offensive.

Yes!  An open for my cartoon-like villanous schemes to remove laughter from the world!

Evil Plan
  1. Create "ha"- a new word that degrades both women and black people at the same time!
  2. Spread the word!
  3. Watch evilly as laughter is banned world-wide, perferably with a deliciously ironic evil laugh, "HAHHAHA!"

It's so evil, I'm sure some of you are offended just hearing about it!

HAHAHA!

Actually, on a seperate note, stopping to think of it.. are any other men sometimes confused by how utterly over-sensitive our counterparts from the other gender can be?

PS-  Of course, no offense intended by implication of being over-senstive.  I'm just confused by crying and social drama and that sort of thing.  And, yes, yes, I know, gender is only a generalization- there are senstive men and insenstive women and so forth and so on.  Just, we're all clear, k?  (Yes, I'm paranoid about hurting someone's feelings.  Nothing hurtful or anything intended, implied, or otherwise meant anywhere here.)

<---- HO HO HO

as i said in another thread about this.....there are just some people that in order for them to have a good day, they have to have something to bitch about. If there are "some" women that feel this is so offensive.....go find a fucking hobby folks, you have way to much time on your hands.
Ohh.. better yet...go find someone to fuck.....have them call you a HO while fuckin' ya silly. That ought to clear things up.

Try telling that to Mod 11.  Sometimes I have to stop to ask her why she's upset; I only figure it out half of the time.  =/

Also, your alias is "IdiotMale".  I'd like to point out that, as a male, I'm highly offended.

A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.

Sounds more like a "journalist" looking for something to be offended by so everybody else could feel offended about a non story.

Yeah, that does seem to be likely.. even though we all know journalists to avoid sensationalism whenever possible, just keeping things to the facts.

I have never understood the reason for shortening the word, "whore" to "ho" in the first place.  It's one syllable for fuck's sake.  Was it just too hard to say for some people?

It is not a shorting, it is a dialect.

For lack of a better way saying it, it is the Ebonic pronunciation of the word whore. For example, "Look at that whore" becomes "Look dat ho".  Many actually ARE saying whore, it just comes out ho.
