So here I am again with something from off on a tangent, but it applies.

Take aspirin. This may sound wierd but it is true, aspirin makes you bruise more easily. The sordid side of this (remember it's me here) is that at battered Women's shelters they tell them to take aspirin for that exact reason, to provide evidence against their abuser.

I'm going to advise against this, aspirin thins the blood. Thinning the blood can have side effects. As with any medication i would only advise taking for the right reasons, not just to achieve a bruised ass.

Tell him if he don't hurt you I will come over and kick the shit outta both of you.

Hell, your whole fucking country..........
Tell him to do it for England.

his choice

He is getting more comfortable with it, and I can understand his reluctance. After many long talks, he's getting better. It was a matter of changing the way he thought about it, it's not abuse if I like it. As it turns out, he likes it to, or rather he likes me reaction to it.

Alls well that ends well

We use the wooden cabinetry dowels ourselves as canes...and if you put little eyehooks in the ends of the inch thick ones they make good spreader bars too and cost less than 5 bucks (and people charge $40 for those things online! fuck that!) ok, anyway, sorry for the tangent....what I was trying to say is, stingy stuff, never causes bruises for me, heavy thuddy stuff, does...dont even have to hit very hard, just long time repeated hits will bring up bruises...not that I advocate deep tissue damage, but it definantly causes the bruises. I have the same issue with my Sir...he never wants to "really" hurt me...which is really fucking aggravating to me cause damn it its not abuse if I want you to do it silly! The really aggravating thing about it is he has absloutly no problem playing that rough with other people when we are at parties and such..and I always ask him about it and he says..but I dont love them, i dont care if I hurt them...arrrrghhhhhhhhhhh. so pretend you dont love me for a night and swing like a Man damnit..

ok..sorry...personal rant over...

childoftheshadow -> RE: Bruises (12/7/2007 8:43:45 AM)

I get the same thing "I love you, I don't want to hurt you" . . . well, damn it, I want you to. I don't like to call it a need, but some days it is. He's such a gentle soul, that he finds it hard to do it, but over the last year or so he's gotten loads better.

Percival Smedley - LOL!!  Good one  [:D]

kiwisub12 -> RE: Bruises (12/8/2007 8:32:07 PM)

When I first started in this lifestyle, I bruised spectacularly from a hand spanking - sore for weeks and bruised nicely. I would bump up against tables and doors at work just to feel the pain.   After two years in a relationship my Sir has to beat me into subspace for me to bruise even a little... it is my theory that after X amount of bruising trauma to any one area, the tiny blood vessels that rupture during a bruising injury clot off, and don't heal, so more force is needed to rupture blood vessels deeper in the skin. Its unfortunate, but unavoidable.  C'est la vie.

You love knife play and electrical play but aspirin out of season is a hard limit?

I love this place.

Best of luck with the pub.

nyrisa -> RE: Bruises (12/9/2007 3:12:06 PM)

Noah, I think the difference is, that the effects of knife play and electrical play can be monitored and (hopefully!) controlled while it is going on, then the toys are put away and life goes on. But the effects of aspirin last for a couple of days, and the person who bruised so beautifully during a flogging, or bled so artistically during a light cutting scene, will also hemorrhage spectacularly if they have car accident and injury on the way home. Car accidents are not rare, neither is slipping on the steps, or tripping over one of the kids' toys, etc. A person who has impaired clotting function can be seriously injured in these instances. A pleasant bit of play yesterday should not contribute to increased vulnerability today, to my way of thinking.

pamela700 -> RE: Bruises (1/19/2008 10:37:19 AM)

hi there.

i bruise really easily, very pale, sometimes even from waxing if they don't get it right!

but you might also want to try the lucite sticks, and the cool carbon fibre sticks i've heard referred to as evil sticks. i am a huge fan of the way even the smallest evil stick can make my boobs bruise almost instantly!
