Yes they are volunteers and I have Moderated at many sites. It can be difficult but at times. Had a thread been going like red just spoke of, I would have shut it down before it getting to the point where that had to happen. It isn't always easy to spot things in advance or even wise to do so. Though had I read and known the facts of the entire thread, I dare say I probably would have stepped in.

dear sweet mod 11 has contacted me 3 times.....once for the shameless bump....and twice for putting crazy crap i got in emails on here.......both of the email threads were pulled too.....a couple other times i have seen her name on my whose viewed me list and i dont have a clue why..... but shes adorable, and i know rules are rules.......she never did answer my question about "what if i dreamed i got an email and posted the contents of it. would that be bad?"

..... hmmmmm ...... Colour me guilty. In honesty … being new … and maybe overly cautious ( til I find my footing ) I haven’t as yet posted anything that would be perceived as weighty, or controversial enough to receive any “real” feedback from anyone …let alone a “viewing” by any of the possible “Powers That Be” …..erm ….question … if a Moderator should view my profile … would the name carry identification as such??? … would I immediately recognize the name as belonging to a Moderator ?? …. worries thinking ….
