I am curious how the various Masters/Mistresses feel about having a slave/sub that is a Pro Domme. Yes, this directly applies to me. Personally, I feel that it doesn't conflict with my submission, as most of what I do is fulfill BDSM fantasies, but I am curious as to what others think about this on the opposite side of the whip.

I don't think it's all that rare, to tell you the truth. I've known several dommes who were switches, but reserved that other side of themselves for one special person only.

I wouldn't have a problem. But then again, I'm poly and wouldn't have a problem with my slave having a submissive or a slave of her own. So I woulnd't have a problem with that whether it was service topping that the slave was doing or being a domme or even mistress.

I'd say that 95% of the Pros that I know or am aware of are submissive to someone. This includes well known names like Midori, although technically, Midori isn't a Pro Fem Dom. She's a fetish and sex educator. Still... When we get past the prevalent idea that what we do defines who we are, all this will seem much more natural. sub/slave does not always equal masochist and Dom/Master does not always equal sadist. Just because you know how to Top someone (and do it well) doesn't mean that you want to be their Dominant or Master. Master Fire

I don't know very many pros who are submissives, or even switches. Still, if you are a switch it means that you are capable of both roles/activities, so how is there an issue? It's not as if you had any personal relationship with your professional clients.

Wouldn't be a problem for me. I don't mind having switches or anyone who doesn't only function as a submissive (be it at work with their co-workers/subordinates or whatever the case may be). All that matters to me is that someone who is MY sub/slave remembers their place with ME. Their being equals or dominant to others in kink or vanilla situations doesn't concern me, it's how they relate to me that does.

What you are doing is fufilling a fantacy in your profession. It is like going to work its a job and that it. The fact that you have a job in a field that you happen to love is a blessing. If you bottom to you man ot it you Top your man in your personal life then thats up to you. Its just that its personal. I dont see a problem but then again I walked away from your line of work so I see your dilema and I know first hand what inner battles you face.

I was a pro domme for a few years and am now in a relationship as a sub. I feel having experienced each role gives me greater insight into each side. I sometimes still top and feel I am better at it now that I have been only a sub for a while. Also, I think we are better equipped to make a good match with the right top because we know first hand what it takes to be one. Being a pro also exposes you to so many activities and skills, you get to know very clearly what you like and dont like because chances are you have done it all.
