[in reference to your posting status] ...you ask a co-worker who's viewing you. ...you look forward to seeing a CM pal online more than that RL friend you haven't seen in a few weeks. ...you look for the dancing Stay-Puff emote and realize you're on another chatting forum. ...you see something [online or off-] and think, "Hey! What a great avatar that would make for the posting forums...!" ...you read a story or hear gossip about a celebrity and can't wait to talk about it...on CM, when there's four people standing around you RL to talk to... ...you look for the PostReply button while watching the news. [similar but strikingly different to the previous example] ...your vet tells you to get a collar [for your pet] and you respond, "Not a chance with all the lousy mail I get from 'Dominates'...!" ...you live next door to another member of CM, but post a response instead of going over to visit them. I'm sure there's more, but I'm kinda tired atm. Brain thinky thingy no worky work.

you know you're an addict when you have a schoolgirl crush on that cute guy from the boards and hope he will notice you and you want to be all clever and smart but you feel just foolish and you hope he will some day look at your profile, and you get all tingly when you realize he did, he really DID look at your profile, and then you re-read your profile and think you really are stupid, and then you don't really know what to do because, you have this big zit-esque mistake on your profile and you know that he's so cool and stuff, and maybe he wasn't REALLY looking at yours, he just accidentally hit the "view full profile" button, but that sometimes happens and it's just a big fat mistake ...and... then... ummm... what was the question?
