Go to an import shop and buy a Chinese caligraphy set, complete with ink pot and brush
A book on knots, especially one that shows how to whip the ends of rope along with thread and a heavy guage needle to do it with.
Rolls of "flat twine" which is a sort of saranwrap for packing things. It is great for mumification
I think they are ugly but wooden dowels and eye bolts make quick spreader bars
Candles for doing wax play
A set of shot glasses for doing fire cupping
Dye clothespins bright colors and string a few together to make a zipper
Check out used bookstores, I have bought lots of bdsm books quite cheaply that way
A small towel sized blanket, perfect for aftercare is a nice touch, I have a chenille one that I have used.
Scour antique stores for weird things, I have a pair of mother of pearl handled silver implements that I think were some sort of crab meat fork that make pretty and sadistic toys.
Go to a "bed and bath" type store and get a set of scrubbie gloves...OMG one of my favorite things to be pampered with.
Bottom line, be creative...
