Yes...you wouldn't think you could get much comedic miliage from those guys. One might even produce a musical comedy about them just so it would be a financial flop...maybe. *wink*

[:D] Hahahaha Who woulda thunk? fakes, gotta be...

You never answered the question why you can charge money for verifiedbdsm when you have clearly stated you don't care about it, you did it as a lark, and really can't be bothered to address anyone's concerns regarding its validity at all.

Sometimes, I don't care enough about you to give you any more of an answer, is an answer.

So do you charge 9.95 or not? And what about the questions people have raised about your service and its value -- does it have value if you clearly do not care about it? Can people expect they get anything for their money?

If you, or someone you know, has an issue with any service provided, either free or pay, please contact me at [email protected]. If not, what business is it of yours?

Well, you did a great job of it...my ego and I will miss you.

Yes, it is a great thing we have that. Those people come in here all the time and ask those questions...this will certainly save many many lives and/or keystrokes!

As promised, the things I look for in spotting fake (or at least temporary) profiles (N.B. I am particularly experienced with the female sub profile, so my comments are particularly aimed at such.):

4) People that photoshop the same picture to look like two pictures (http://www.collarme.com/bdsm/v/158482/default.htm#)

You mean that profile isn't real? But I just sent her plane fare to visit me. What was I thinking?? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Will the RHPS fans kindly explain that to the people with confused looks on their faces. Thank you, and goodnight.

ROFLOL...every Halloween....with popcorn, tp and the works!!! My greatest failing as a parent was raising my unmentionables with this as a tradition [sm=lol.gif]

When I was 10 or 11, my sister was going to the original RHPS live show at the 8th Street Playhouse in the villiage in NYC. I wanted to go, but she didn't want me to. She said I could go if I could tell her what a transvestite was. I said it was a man who wanted to be a woman. She said no...and wouldn't let me go. I went when I was 16 for the first time.

True story.

Then I'm really, really bad! All of mine started watching within the first 5 years of life :::sigh::: And even though most are now pretty much grown up, I still won't even let them watch the Simpsons. Go figure. Oh well. I've always felt it was important for them to have traditions...and this was just one of many.

CalliopePurple -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/14/2005 8:40:06 PM)

I still have yet to see the entire thing. Stupid little sister always wanted me to change the channel when it was on VH1.

quietkitten -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/15/2005 1:23:17 AM)

In order to get the full effect, you really need to go to the theatre to see it... the audience becomes more of the show than the show is.

Man I love that.. I've never seen RHPS as a stage performance but loved it as a movie so much so that I have it on vidio and its close to the top of my wanted dvd list.

wanders off singing "Time Warp" untill the malamute joins in and drowns me out

Awesome Homestarrunner quote! Apparently the fakeitude is directly proportional to the newbieitude. Because a fake that is not a newbie, is hardly a fake at all.

NakedOnMyChain -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/15/2005 3:26:32 AM)

A virgin! Someone mark IronBear with a V on the forehead. RHPS is awesome live. Every Halloween, the Colombia costume comes out of my closet, and I scare the bejesus out of someone.....or maybe that's every weekend. Hmmm....

callbacks in <>

<"Where do you buy your coke?"> "Colombia!" <"What's your favorite color?"> "Magenta!"

Hmmm since the original "craze" early on, I haven't seen the RHPS advertised live an a theater in what ever state I've lived in. It is the sort of thing that I will set aside funds and time to attend. When I've been in the US I have seen it advertised but duties are not kind to such wants as seeing the RHPS. Still perhaps one day, untill them I'll enjoy it in the comfort of my arechair with a cuban cigar in one hand and a glass of malt whisky in the other.

That is correct...cold ones for everyone!

(I was wondering if anyone would catch that. Not many H*R fans on the boards, I guess.)

who cares who cares.

I do not at this moment.

What is fake to someone is real to another.

Im shocked this thread is still going.

If i can bothered i might come back later and flame people.

DommeBMFS -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/15/2005 7:33:07 AM)

Oooh! Well...hmm. Hello ! Nice to meet everyone. :) I am a dominant female and um, rather new to practicing, but rather old in, shall we say 'spirit'? Also, have had friends in the life/style for 14 years.

While I'd like to read each and every single post here on this thread immediately, I must admit I only scanned them and fell immediately akin to many, and I, well..errrrr....rushed to express which strict guidelines I adhere to in order to ensure I'm not getting 'taken.' Ahh....they don't always work and I refine them continually.

First of all, as a natural domme, I get asked all the time if I am 'prodomme' *cringes, mouth gets salty at the idea*. *sigh* My general response: "No, I am not prodomme and have never stripped, danced, whored or sold drugs for money. Yes, I am REAL."

But, I digress. I have been pushed, prodded, poked and generally provoked into resisting being the 'stereotypical' Domme. I have THE most deliciously creative ways of using kindness... as, well, a weapon, as I must at times. My tongue IS sharp at times. I LIKE good manners EVERYWHERE I go, no matter whether dom / sub / slave / tg / tv/ ts / ponygirl / ponyboy ...uh...it's pretty inclusive.

In any case, and more to the point, here's what I stormed up:

A FAKE MIGHT:

1) ....Say that it's time to 'get even'--that MAY be real, yep...real SCARY. I seriously worry about the sex in their violence;

2) No face pics, neither webcam;

3) Yep, upon first conversation one doesn't agree that they have any limits at all -hard or soft- and shows me their dick instead of their face, which is not what I ASKED to see in the FIRST place- hrm;

4) I only hear from them in the am-as in 'morning wood is good';

5) If one can't say 'boo' outside their bdsm fantasy world to let me know their first name;

6) Throws their phone number out as if it were a 900 number;

7) Labels anything that moves, and deragatorily;

8) Thinks that 'training' begins below the neck;

9) Giggles when I say 'condom'----and doesn't talk about it at all;

10) Has more toys than Saint Niclaus himself....JUST FOR ME...oh, and WELL--- promises to buy EVERYTHING together: including a new car for me. *bats Her eyes...NOT*

Eh, those are my top ten 'triggers' to question sincerity, I suppose.

All the BEST to ALL;
DommeBMFS
aka LadyCie

I love it! Can we maybe get imtempting to throw in a few who cares who cares in there somewhere?

And it certainly needs more cowbell!
