Which is what, exactly?  If you can be a little more specific about what you're looking for in a collar, folks might be able to direct you to what you're looking for.  "Really good" isn't all that helpful  [;)]

I do custom work as well as premade pieces, all done by hand. My style is very refined, however, so you may not like it if you are looking for big tough rough stuff.:D (See, it rhymed. I'm hopped up on lattes.)

I get nearly all my custom leather work done by Paul Johnson of www.offrampleathers.com Being a one man three machine shop, his site is sorely lacking but if you can dream it he can build it. And after 13 years as head tailor at Mr. S. I think he has the experience to back it up. He's amazing to work with, understands what I need and want, and as a leatherman himself knows the intricacies and suggestions that take your idea and enhance it in both comfort and style.

I also strongly recommend Archer and Elegant. www.fantasiesinleather.com

Search ebay sometimes they have some great deals and styles.  The inventory changes every day.  Search leather collar, leather choker, etc.

I've gotten leather collars from many different places (including some of the places listed in the earlier posts).  It really depends on what you are looking for and what you want.  Nearly all of the ones I have are "really good" (I have a few that were door prizes or free that kinda suck, but the price was right) and they are all different and from different vendors.  If you give us an idea of what you want, I'm sure you'll get plenty of help.

This guy does BEAUTIFUL custom work and is willing to work with you till you get what you want. I buy all of my leather goods from him. He is revamping his site, so there may be a few glitches.

I highly recommend Leather by Danny ... http://www.gripcuffs.com/ ... he hand makes everything as well, and will engrave the leather with whatever you want, if that's what you want.

monywildcat -> RE: Where did you get your leather collar? (3/12/2008 12:26:48 AM)

ok i have to post here, i only have one collar to speak of, (so far anyway) and I got it at...PetsMart.  single row of spikes and rivets all the way around.  i love it.

xxblushesxx -> RE: Where did you get your leather collar? (3/12/2008 1:30:19 PM)

This is my favorite leather collar. It is made to fit your neck perfectly. After two years mine is still gorgeous.

*edited to add* I actually broke it when I first got it because I didn't know how to undo the clasp. (HoneyMaster had put it on me.) They fixed it free of charge.

Here are the rest of their leather collars, btw.

this site has a lot of nice little collars. http://www.daycollar.com/Default.asp?Redirected=Y
most are great for wear out in public if discretion is somewhat necessary, some i would wear all the time. they do custom work also. have fun!

Hotch -> RE: Where did you get your leather collar? (3/16/2008 8:15:15 PM)

I'd recommend making it.  I've always thought items given as an expression of commitment should have a personal touch.

These people are at the NY Reneassaoice Fair, but do work all year round via the internet. They do all sorts of custom orders.... If you can describe a little of what you'd like to see they come up with some really beautiful pieces!

closetmonkey -> RE: Where did you get your leather collar? (3/18/2008 12:33:09 PM)

I was just gunna say... never underestimate a pet boutique's collars... I'm not suggesting it as a kink, I'm just saying- some of the NICEST collars I have ever seen, were handmade for our furry pets, not our human ones... but they translate so WELL!

LadyPact -> RE: Where did you get your leather collar? (3/18/2008 8:23:47 PM)

I'm hoping this is the link to where I bought the one for My boy.

Have to have a second for Leather By Danny, we picked up a couple of his bondage cuffs at BR one year and he had a gorgeous suede chevron collar in purple/maroon. Thats where mine came from, otherwise I had gotton my pets collar from Sinvention http://sinvention.com/fetish_section_bondage_collars.html
