I was explaining to a friend last night the dynamics of the Daddy/daughter BDSM relationship and I got to wondering is there a Mistress/sub equivalent?  Is here a Mommy/son dynamic?  Or a Mommy/daughter dynamic?

Yes there is, and also in my devious little mind I think it would be fun to be a very spoiled daughter with a Daddy sub. Although this would be more of a role play scenario and not an immersive life dynamic.

I think, by her nature, most Mistresses are "Mommy" Mistresses to her boys, in some ways.

Yes, there certainly is.  That's the entire dynamic my Owner has with her other pet.  It's also a pseudo-dynamic of our relationship, on some level.  I do call her, "Mommy" when she's done something extremely motherly...like earlier tonight when she helped me put my shirt on because I was getting completely overwhelmed by it. :-p

Thanks for the responses.  I am usually on the sub forum so I hear Daddy this Daddy that a lot, but have never heard Mommy... so I wondered whether it was used in the situation where the top/owner was a woman.

i'm not specifically seeking this kind of dynamic, but as induced lactation is one of the big things that i am looking for a submissive to help me with, i could see a mommy/son dynamic growing out of that. those emotions are definitely there with me...it would just take the right person and the right mindset of devotion to open it up.

Yes, there is an equivalent, and that dynamic does work for some people and is not even entirely uncommon.

It absolutely DOES NOT work for me, and any hint of it squicks me out to the point that I would end the scene.  I can do Daddy when I'm in my gay male top persona, but Mommy doesn't work for me at all.  It's a hard limit for me.

i certainly think that the equivelant exists in the D/s sense, even if a Mistress is squicked out by the mummy aspect. It comes across as nurturing and generally being taken care of, not financially, but by ther Mistress making sure i have the right diet and enough sleep.

Its not exactly the same although it is similar.

Both my boys are in some form of a Mommy/baby relationship with me, as Fox has mentioned.
For he and I , part of it is sheerly the age difference. I have a huge over protective streak, and there are times when Mommy comes as naturally to him as Maam or my name.

For Angel, it IS our entire dynamic.  Angel is my baby girl, even though he is genetically a male. I am always Mommy, even in our more vanilla interactions.  He has slipped and said it in front of friends a time or two.

The Mommy dynamic isnt nearly as popular as the Daddy one is, but we are defaintely out there.

yes, absolutely; i've often said that Ma'am was everynody's mother; but i would never even consider calling Her "Mom" or "Mommy"... as maternal as Ma'am is to me and others, i simply don't think of Her on that level

while the idea of a Mommy/boy dynamic squicks me out, i can definitely see the appeal

Without a doubt.  I have several subs that call me Mom instead of Miss, and am about to collar a slave who wants me to be his mommy figure as the main part of the lifestyle.  I feel very comfortable with this, though I'm sure it is not for everyone.  I am more into giving discipline than outright pain, and tend to teach as I go, so it is a very natural role for me.

As such it is not saying a lot, considering I'm 25, but my iron burns hot when a younger woman dominates me so a daddy/daughter relationship would hopefully be right up my alley.

Can't wait until I'm 30 and old.
