Kidnapping is always a biggie. Especially if there's a touch of terror and humiliation involved once the target has been acquired. Yummy yummy emotional sadism. I've also had a dream about human sacrifice that ended up becoming sort of hot. I'd been watching much too much SciFi that night. (Is there such a thing?) There was a passel of people, dressed in raggedly torn clothing. Some had bizarre musical instruments. Others carried fruits and other offerings. And some carry torches. And two hulking men dragged a smaller, kind of lanky guy toward the front of the procession. He was screaming like a banshee, fighting them every step of the way. They climbed a small hill to where a stone slab lay waiting. The torch bearers gathered around as others lay fruit, berries, nuts, etc. around the alter. And then someone who was clad head to toe in heavy, black fabric weaved through the onlooking crowd, carrying a small silver case. As the two men struggled to hold the (still screaming) guy to the alter the person in dark garb flips open the case and withdraws a dagger that has a zig-zagging blade. The case is set aside and the person grips the blade's hilt in both hands, lifting it high above the soon-to-be sacrifice. Before the blade has a chance to plunge into the victim, a pissed off looking woman grabs an onlooker by the shirtfront and hauls him closer to the alter. The other hand grabs for the dagger. With one vicious swipe, she slices open the onlooker's chest, tosses the dagger aside and pushes her hand into his chest. Tearing out his heart with one hand, she pushes him backward with the other. She tosses it between the would-be sacrifice's legs. Yanking him off the alter, she loops a bit of leather around his throat then hauls him down the steps and off down the road.
