Thank you, Gauge, for indulging my silliness. I just wanted to preserve the old "That's tough" child's chant. I'm a bit of a cultural preservationist.

For me, Life is....I dunno....it just is. Any set of terms I try to apply to it would be an attempt at reduction. I get a lot of my cues from animals. Unspoken truth?

To me, life is thus:

opening my eyes up every morning and not having a fucking clue, whether I'll return back to my same bed that night?

Not having a fucking clue, if someone new will be in it, when I return that night?

And, not having a fucking clue why the fuck, I cuss like a fucking sailor?

But, that's just the short answer!

Life is one big adventure after the next. Sometimes good sometimes bad.

Life is like a book, with multiple chapters. Each part of your life, a chapter you experience, you learn from. Moving on, closing chapters, starting anew.

Life is like a long road one is walking, with forks and turns, up hills, down hills, twists and turns. With ppl you meet along the way, some to walk with you for a short time, some to walk with you for a long time, some take your path. Sometimes your road hits a tunnel and all you can see is dark, but if one keeps walking, they'll make it to the light. Always must push forward, because never know whats around the next bend, or the next person you'll meet.

Life is a learning experience.

Life can be.. a single card in a deck, surrounded by multiple decks on multiple layers and all we're doing is making our way through each of these decks with the completion of exeperience and knowledge we gain from each of our lives. (if you believe in reincarnation)

Life can be just one big spiritual journey. Our life, a test of our faith. A trial persay. AND Jesus said, "One of you will betray me" Can we make it through our Trial, our test, with out betraying?

Or Life can be a different type of journey, to strengthen our faith, to educate ourselves more, to enter into a new higher, spiritual level. Do we go forward, or do we go backwards? (the last two if you believe in God and/or are spiritual)--
