I love fat threads!
Happy Holidays everyone.

Congratulations on starting yet another (yawn) fat thread.

I hope you like attention, because this type of fat thread usually goes about 20 pages or so.

Good luck with that.

My apologies for starting a thread that you have discussed before, however I was not here when that or those threads were discussed

No need to apologize, sw, and you are of course free to raise (almost) any topic you'd like. As you point out, not everyone was here last time we discussed the subject.

Please pardon us jaded CM veterans who roll our eyes when a hardy perennial resurfaces on the boards. It's a Pavlovian reaction, not an effort to diss you.

I am sure you can do a search on the forums and about a billion of them will show up. You will have plenty of reading material, all essentially saying the same things.

They all start out with a seemingly innocent question like why are there so many fat women in BDSM or do you think there is a higher proportion of fat people in BDSM, or do you think all fat people hate themselves or do you think all fat women become subs because they are desperate, etc.

But don't worry, as I said, this thread will probably run the optimal 20 or so pages so you will get your fair shot at contributing.

simplewhispers -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 6:04:38 PM)

if I had done this thread before I could understand why you would not read or post, but I have not, everybody is new at some point in time, thank you for your understanding..[8|]

as for not dissing someone, speak for yourself.

A great deal of information can be gleaned using the search function, which allows you to pull up threads that have any post under a year old in them. Meaning a thread could have made in 2005 but as long as someone has posted on it within the year, you will be able to find it.

I second dc on this...

Fat vs. phat, true vs. twue, real vs. fake, they are just all things that make some of us smack our heads really hard when we see them.  It's not you, it's just we know how the story ends and how the plot thickens in the middle.  Give it a little time and you'll see how it typically works.

BTW, I'm an admirer of big, sexy men, too...  (sexy, in my book, requires cleanliness and proper grooming - but hey, that's just me.)  [;)]

Hugs,
Red

When I first read this I was like hmm someone who is simply expressing a point of view. Then I saw the discussion open up towards being negative. Why can't we have a positive FAT thread for once. You're bound to find someone who doesn't fit your desires- so simply redo your profile and express what you want on there. The only thing I can gather from this thread is that it is another negative attack to a specific group.

popeyesmeekone -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 6:15:23 PM)

This is my first reading of a CM thread and my first post on a CM thread...how sad it was to see the lack of sensitivity to others presented by some on this list toward the original poster of this thread.  If this thread is so boring, why even waste Your precious time responding?  There may be new Ones who have no clue what has been posted in the past, such as myself.  Happy Holidays to All.  meek

So sorry you are offended. This is a public forum and anyone can post anything they like just as anyone can reply, even if it is offensive to you.

Since this is your first reading and first post, have fun, the forum is tons of fun and very enlightening to most.

We could have a pool to predict when it will wind up in Random Stupidity.

Okay, I'll take some of that action...4th page, 8th posting down I say it goes to shit.

Kaiynasha -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 6:21:23 PM)

simplewhispers -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 6:24:52 PM)
