Hello,
I own some good ole Smith and Wesson Model 100 handcuffs, but they're really uncomfortable for me to wear.  My wrists are very small--6" in circumfrence--and there just isn't much padding there.  Someone suggested using an ace bandage there to prevent chafing, but I'd like to find some restraints that are comfortable to wear and have the permanence of metal.  I was thinking of some Darby style cuffs, but so far the only ones I found that closed small enough were the Ladies' Sized versons, which are out of stock.

So I was wondering if anyone knows of any comfortable steel restraints for those with small wrists.  Thanks!

extremerestraints.com has some nice leather lined stainless steel cuffs. Fairly thick guage, so they can be bent so cannot turn your wrist in the cuff, but with really small wrists that might not work for you.

If you have a price range or a budget, that would help.

JT's Stockroom makes custom steel restraints, 1 or 2 inches wide, as small as 6 1/4 inches:  http://www.stockroom.com/b879plus.htm

They also have stainless steel lined in leather, that go as small as 5 3/4 inches:  http://www.stockroom.com/a325.htm

ok so they arent steel but sax leather make lockable leather cuffs (my wrists are quite small and the cuffs can even go smaller again than my wrists), they are just gorgeous, I havent got time to chase the link but i put it in another thread about collars in this section.

I personally love the discomfort of the metal cuffs, but if it is really extended play or if my arms are above my head they do get a bit to uncomfortable, but the leather ones feel so good and are very secure

I've had 6 inch wrists all of my life.  I thought it was the norm?  Maybe not.
Anyway, metal cuffs have always been seriously uncomfortable for me no matter what brand.
My best friend makes cuffs so I've tried more than most.
Leather feels real nice against the skin.  My all time favorite is velcro though.  Problem with them is they tend to break.  I have a habit of struggling a bit..and haven't found a cuff that lasts through more than about 3 play sessions yet.
