When i am in subspace, all higher brain function is just... gone. i obey without thought, which scared me after the first time i experienced it. i can hardly form words and sometimes can barely stand or walk (like i'm drunk or high). The first time, my Master had instructed me to grab a warm washcloth and clean us up... and had to change His orders when He realized that i wasn't going to be able to walk to the bathroom. Our afterplay routine has changed due to that, with plenty of time for me to come down before we move on to the final phase of play.
When really deep into it, really happy and content, i have amused Him by humming. No real melody and He compares it to a cat's purr. At that stage i am able to walk, fairly coordinated, but floating mentally. That is a pretty deep state of subspace for me, though. The drunk/drugged stage is more common.
i don't experince it when alone, though hearing His voce on the phone can bliss me out, without any sort of play involved. i have felt a post-orgasmic high before and it wasn't quite the same. This subspace experience is more intense and deeper.
