How many hours do you think you wrap someone's head completely in bondage tape without risking someone's health? Of course the nose would be left unwrapped so the person can breath.

Definitely not hours. The guaze type wrap would probably work better than actual tape in my opinion.

I had the pleasure of attending a private session where the top wraped the bottoms head in duct tape, he used a womans nylon stocking first to cover her head, the scene lasted a good hour, and she was fine when she returned from her trip of course grin\ ivy

I really don't know the answer to that question. I wil say howere that I wrapped a gift in plastic ibce and it was ok for hours,.......even days.

I do quite a bit of duct tape mummification. The answer is really...it all depends on the bottom, on the day, on their health. My favorite duct tape bottom can stay encased for more than 10 hours..with nothing more than a small nose hole or open mouth hose gag. He is in very good health...has shown no signs of claustrophobia and we never play when there is even a hint of head cold, sinus drainage, allergies etc. With that said, there have been times where even the slightest variance.. head tilted too much so the airway is compromised a bit...a very slight sinus issue....an insatiable itch...can made this impossible for even a minute. You just need to be very very aware of your bottoms breathing and have some way for them to indicate they are in trouble. Sometimes I use a ball in the hand...they can drop if they get in trouble. Always have scissors nearby for a fast cut away.

I suggest leaving the mouth uncovered, too, in case nasal passages close up. Master Fire

I know I've done hours and hours of mummification with duct tape and I've had no adverse effects. I tend to go with a layer or three of saran wrap over my latex catsuit, then add the duct tape on top of that. My head is wrapped in saran wrap and duct tape, too, with nose and mouth tubes. I tend to sweat a lot on there, so I constantly drink water and gatorade to stay hydrated. I know my limits, so at the first sign of a problem, I'm letting my top know. But I absolutely love the sensory dep and the restriction of it. No claustrophobia here...in fact, mummify me and lock me in a coffin for a few hours![;)]

Ive used vet wrap and bondage tape and saran..definitely hydration, thru a straw, I usually have one edge on the top lip and a edge on thebottom lip, not so noticable and the pressure is there making you aware of the taping, but still able to breathe if the nostrils get plugged/congested. But Ive done it for an hour or so but everyone will have their own times. work up to it with your partner, dont go all out the first few times, find your comfort zone then take it slowly, and always have the emt scissors handy Ive had it done to me too , but I had a hot flash during it and my head and face came out in hives/heat rash, my scalp sweat so much it made me very uncomfortable/faint and I had to get out of it. Thumbs up to rubberpet, I like the way you think heh. I adore sens dep, mummification etc, altho I dont play with duct tape(just a personal preference), I do use most of the others mentioned here, yummmm Lucy

I wouldn't be able to handle my mouth being closed up. (I hate gags too.) I wouldn't be inclined to cover someone elses mouth, even if they beg me.
