I was wondering if anyone knew where to find an inexpensive ($100 or less) corset. This isn't for play, it's going to be a costume piece only. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Unless you can find a steal in a thrift shop or on Ebay, I think you're going to be out of luck.

A few suggestions:

The SCA. They do costuming pieces like that for LOTS of people, and mostly it's for memebers. But if you know someone, they may be able to help you.
Costume Shops. There is a theatrical costume shop here in Nashville, there may be one near you too. Check with them. You can rent the piece very reasonably or you can purchase it outright usually for a reasonable price.
If you can sew, there are faux corsets in patterns. Take a look at those and maybe you can make it cheeply.
There are groups who do corsetry. I know of about 6 on LiveJournal and another 10 on Yahoo Groups. Contact one of them and ask, you may find someone who is willing to help you out.
Bridal shops. Corsets are coming back in, and you may be able to find corsets at a bridal shop to help.
Antique clothing stores: There was one store down in Little Five Points in Atlanta which had vintage clothing at reasonable prices. There may be something in your neck of the woods that is simmilar.
Thrift stores
Flea markets

I hope this helps you.

For costume use only, not for waist support or training, Victorias Secret, wicked temptations, and Fredericks of Holleywood have them for as low as $45(when their close out) to $80. Do not expect them to sinch the waist in more than an inch and a halph.
e-bay always has nice leather corsets, price generally starts at $80, if you shop around for the people who make and distribute them, and are selling of excess you can find one that will last for more then one play party. I recomend alter-ego-erotics*llc , They have a couple really nice ones in that range, and I can speak for the fact that with proper care their products hold up.

I guess I answered my own question. I found a gorgeous wetsuit material black corset with red ribbon laces for $20 at Hot Topic. It's faux, of course, but it's neat.
