double standards all around.

when i rsponded to a 19 year old females post about a similar topic. i said to her, how much experience can you really have in all this, at age 19, and that was all i had said. then the shit storm started, people came from nowhere telling me how i was a chump, asking me who the hell do you think you are? now an 18 year old male has similar thing, and everyone tells him to grow up and get experience...and to stop whinning. i am sure that really helps the OP with his problem or concern.

and yes focus, you are so right about world leaders should very much have some experience, perferably alot of experience. but we are not talking about world politics here now are we?

teenage generals and presidents, you hit the nail on the head, thats exactly what i meant, duuhhhhhhhhhhhhh

To me, it depends on the role moreso than gender....  Theoretically, a teenage sub need only make one informed decision on the choice of his/her Dom/me and from then on is guided by the choices and expectations of that Dom/me.  But for the dominant role, choices and responsibilities for two are are what we do every single day and you really need to have your shit together - a helluva lot more than "I've read more books than X or Y".

Or perhaps you just have a gift for starting shit storms...?

It would seem we're talking about principles - except that mine don't have your sliding scale of degree....

same happens with the subs.....you can send email after email to people your own age and never get a reply back.....ok so what the hell is everyone here for if no one wants to "hook up" and no i dont mean that in the whorish sense...that's why it's in ""

so world politics and bdsm lifestyle are of equal comparison?
both worthy of equal attention, and concern?

i guess so,,,, i mean the bdsm world is a small cliquish group of people thinking things should be a certain way, and the world leaders are a small group of cliquish people  thinking things should be a certain way

. i can see it now. thanks

i do not think bdsm compares to world politics. depends what seems more important to the individual i guess

Male/Female whats the difference the thing is if they call themselves Doms they should know their own limits, I don't know my limits I need experaince but I don't complain when a sub say 'Thanks but no thanks' (or worse) either I am not what she wants or she doesn't want a newbie master to f*** up and ruin her experaince.

Agreed; I certainly don't make my life decisions based on something so removed and singularly irrelevant as world politics....

Though how one deals with either (or anything else) is still relevant to the maturity, wisdom and personality of the individual concerned....

*btw, since my kids are older than you, if you were a bad Dom to me, I could ground ya! right??

I love this. So much. You have no idea.

Nope but he could send you to the corner.

Heres my question. When in the vanilla world is he refered to as your boy toy or your adoptive son? ... ...

you are placing yourself at risk anytime you have any form of sex

Maybe its just me but, I have this odd feeling that when Im standing over someone with a whip and a candle or whatever else I may want to play with that day there is just a slight tinest bit more danger then putting on a condom and going at it like two bunnies? I don't know but just maybe. You know emontional damage involving refering to yourself as a slave/sub to someone who was abuse compared to "Me and my boyfriend didn't work out.... And we had sex.... *cries*"

Maybe its just me but I feel any action in the lifestyle is a step above just having any form of vanilla interaction.

But, hell, it could be because I don't know what politics are...

I am going to refrain from blowing you out of the water here as you seem to be getting quite enough of it from other posters. I will say that I have seen quite a few twentysomething subs on here. Most of them specifically post that they aren't interested in someone 10+ years older than them. As to the subs that are older, why would you even want to be with them? Outside of BDSM you really aren't going to have too much in common at all.
