I wonder if there is a world somewhere in the Universe where everyone gets his or her way?  Until we find that place the majority will usually rule.

My My… if there is a God you so called atheists have a rude awakening…if there is no God well…. I’ll never know but I’ll die thinking I have a future. All you have to look forward to on your deathbed is to rot in the cold ground.

I feel sorry for you.
Butch

I frankly don't need your sorrow.

lol... you have it anyway... you have no control over whether I feel sorry for you or not. How does that feel?

By the way I did not say I was a Christian...I just said god...but... you do have a good point...maybe I should have said believe in life after death...

They aren't allowed to sale alcohol on Christmas here.  That's a fucking travesty.  How the hell am I supposed to deal with friends and family without booze to numb my senses?

I totally agree.  I need Jack, Johnnie, the Smirnoff brothers,  and a chick named Tequila just to deal with my family!

Maybe Santa will bring your mail, the night before, when he's breaking into your place!

Although, he does know whether you've been bad or good...

The USPS delivers mail on Yom Kippur, which is arguably a much more solemn occasion.

Because Yom Kippur is not a Federal Holiday under US Code.

ova here, not last year, but the year before, some branches of woolies woz open on christmas day, coz the majority of the staff aren't christian... but last year and this year everybody is closed, so i guess somebody complained or something.

but if you're not a christian, then i think its only fair to have your holidays off and work when you want, but i guess the problem with that is, where do you draw the line?

Why isn't the mail delivered that day?

For the same reason you are getting either a paid day off or double time for having to work it.

Oh, sure- be all rational and reasonable about it. Everyone else is trying to make a nice flame rant out of it, and someones always got to ruin it.

Oh MY!

I think that I am going to print this and hang it on my wall.  So that I can point to it, and say, "There it is folks, there is where I was rational and resonable.  It says so RIGHT THERE!"
