Hi was wondering where Doms keep the keys to a locking collar I am just curious My Master keeps his in his wallet LOL is that safe? Where are common places to keep them?

why would one want to know where the key was? in cases of dire emergencies, bolt cutters are easily at hand.

Our locks are all keyed alike (Master brand locks). Master Archer keeps a key on his own keychain, I keep a key on my keychain, there is a key in my jewlery box and a key in his dresser drawer.

One idea would be to suture the key to the submissives back where they can't reach it. hanging it off the jewelery of a flesh piercing would be ok too.

Then it's anywhere the submissive is ;)

Well having multiple copies of the key is safer than just one, in case it gets lost. But we've tried one of those wall-mountable lockable key boxes (that you can hang lots of keys in). Whenever I felt subby and the collar was supposed to be locked on all day, the hubby would put the keys in that box, lock it, and take the key to the box with him. The box itself was thin aluminum and could be taken off the wall and bashed open fairly easily if necessary, but it would be very, very obvious that it had been done. Good for emergencies, but still a deterrent to get out "just because".

I keep My girls collar key on a necklace around My neck,I also have any keys for My cuffs that I use on that same chain.she has a key on her key chain.
Spares are kept in a box in My dresser.

I trust her to not take off her collar even at work,she is proud of it and often displays it.
When asked about it she simplys replies"It means i pledge my life to my Wife"

To make it easier for her to have a word to call Me other than Mistress W/we picked "Wife"

I have a special key set with my locks, a secondary set in my drawers, and I usually keep a key to a collar lock on my keychain.

honestly.. I'd have multiple keys... on My keyring... and a spare somewhere you can find it easily in case something happens.

I keep my key on my key ring (which I keep with me always), but have a spare sealed inside an envelope in an easy-to-get drawer, where it can be retrieved quickly in an emergency, but it's obvioius if it gets used.

My father owns a locksmith shop so I have modified our locks to all be keyed alike but some also have hidden releases so we don't even need a key. Once kept a sub chain to our bed for a long weekend at the end of which I pulled off the lock with no key making her think it hadn't even been locked the entire time.

Hi Andie and Master Hal,
In the past I have kept my key on my keychain and an extra key in the house. If my sub didnt live with me and I wanted to use a lock on his collar, I have hidden the spare in his house for emergencies. I was looking at a cock cage at the Fetish Flea here in Ga. and my sub got real nervous about it. I told him should I ever have him wear one, a key would be available to him but only I would know the location. Hope this helps.
